in Scandinavia they can pull a much wider range of rigs. so it could be set up with a box container on the tractor and a draw-bar trailer (wag'an'drag). or a flat bed pulling a bogy and 5thwheel trailer.
In scandinavia we have long and dark winter. Extra highbeams are common on trucks. Adding two pairs used to be normal, adding 3 is little much, adding 8 or 10 is going a bit overboard.
I believe this truck does many jobs requiring different trailers. This trailer is not the regular trailer. It has the ability to load and unload also to hook a roll off container to.
American trucks aren't powerful. You know why they need a gearbox with 18 steps ? Because they're weak and that's a fact. Your most powerful stock kenworth and peterbuild manufactured are on par with the french truck the Renault Magnum. American trucks can't stand a chance against Volvo, Scania, Man or Mercedes. Check your facts. Your trucks are longer and dumber, clumsy, diesel hoggers, noisy, with small cabs, poor visibility, poor reliability, childish design failures like twisted transmission shaft because it is too thin and so on.
Usually these set ups are for very high front axle load usage. I don't think pulling that Kenwood trailer is it's normal job. Especially with that loader boom behind the cab. Very pretty truck, whatever it's used for.
My question is this: is there an advantage of having twin steering axels on a truck vice a single steering axel? the only place I have seen a truck with twin steering axels are in videos of foreign countries, I have not seen the first one on the interstates of the USA
Weight. Twin axles in the front gives you more payload than adding a third to the back, but since you're limited to 36 tons in the states I don't think there will ever be a need for that. They are not common down on the continent since they also have a lot tighter weight restrictions so it's a setup you'd only see domestic trucks run...
It's probably a crane truck with a container on the hook and a dolly trailer pulled behind in its regular life, and the 5th wheel for when going to shows...
I'm not a truck driver. But I have friends who are and they told me that for TIR, road trains, ports and do not burn up a tractor each year, in the 90s, the best were Scania. And, apparently, today is still the best. No, inform yourself better in "the cloud." It is better to have a monster of these. Clarified the question?
Dem Hacken zwischen Kabine und Auflieger nach zu urteilen, eher für den Transport eines Abroll-Schutt-Containers geeignet, aber bei so einem Event auch mal mit Kenwood-Auflieger nutzbar...lolo Bernhard
It Has noo Clearance, and boy, when you drive around far enough, the road gets very ,very bumpy, especially over in the Big Mountain region, that 4 axle truck would get ripped to shreds ,Pal.
That is a gorgeous truck.
What a beast. That thing looks amazing. It wouldn't even know that trailer is on it.

Nice truck indeed. American truck doesn't have a chance against Scania V8!
Hmmmm, I smell a troll. You're just jealous because we got the power, sound and quality too. Over and out. 10-4.

Why all the stuff behind the cab? The crane, the hook, lift. What job does this truck do?
😍👍👏
que maquina hei....muito chick
I would def make this my default day to day vehicle
noob question here but does the front four wheels help with the turning radius and or stability or both

Very pretty truck, whatever it's used for.
The sound is awesome. Why the sleeping cabine is so small?
haaaaaaaaa es hermoso . no hay camion como los scania.
What is the advantage of the front four steering?
Insane truck! how is it possible to get so much smoke with a new truck? tuning?

wery nice
does anyone know who build this truck
i see it is roll off tipper/crane and tractor in one
so who made roll off ?
Melhor q o Optmus Prime !!!
kkkkkkkk
awful lot going on there. knuckle boom, hook lift, and 5th wheel, very interesting
It's probably a crane truck with a container on the hook and a dolly trailer pulled behind in its regular life, and the 5th wheel for when going to shows...
i think it just to get another axle to pull heavier loads with more evenly distribute weight.
i want this model in WSI :3

tah soltando muita fumaça pra um motor eletrónico
Nice rig! Tad over-fueled though, what with the excessive black smoke.
stuff your super cars if i was rich i would have that truck. it can do three different jobs how cool is that
what's the point of the quad steer in the front? anyone know?
joseph campos not shure, guessing it's because of the crane.adds alot of weight.
Yep, with that size of crane you would need a quad steer.
Black smoke power
Put a 50 foot stainless Great Dane spread axle behind it and it would look even cooler!!
It's a hooklift ;)
Aleee gleeebaaaa XD
