    YOOO a blind-no backseat playthrough, i'm gonna LOVE this. There's actually another person who did a blind playthrough without prior knowledge or help, and they beat the game all by themselves, no google searches, no nothing. He's even discovered something i thought would be impossible to find if you don't ask or search the web.

    I dont wanna say too much because I think its amazing to experience minecraft raw for the first time, but to at least give you something to do, maybe try punching some other blocks if you do another episode of this 😆

    Experimentation, analyzation and curiosity are probably your best friends when it comes to figuring out Minecraft with zero outside knowledge. Look at everything, carefully analyse it, try to figure out what it does or what you can do with it, and what you can’t do with it and just see what happens. Don’t be scared of the unknown but approach with caution.
    But most importantly: Take your time with all of the above.

    You should check out a server called CivMC. The map is nearly 3 years old now and it's basically what one of those "simulate civilisation" videos would be if it was balanced to be player led emergent civilisation over an extremely long period of time instead of a temporary event for content.

    Plss i want to see more! Its rly rare to find someone that has absolutely no knowledge of minecraft and minecraft is one of those games where you just wish you could experience for the the first time again cause once you learn and gt used to the game it doesnt get boring but it isnt the same as learning and discovering new stuff ans mechanics. Hope you make another vid, and maybe try breaking a tree or 2 (thats step 1 of mining and crafting😊).

    Hi, new subscriber here. Minecraft is a really amazing game, but some of the best aspects and mechanics of it r really not intuitive at all. And new players, such as urself, struggle even with intuitive stuff. It really is a game that is meant to be taught by others, at least partially. But I understand not wanting to get spoiled. So when it comes to giving tips, I will only be telling u general stuff and hints abt what u can do, or give u advices when u genuinely struggle. Don't be afraid to ask me (or others) to not tell u smth though. That being said though, there's really 4 Core mechanics to Minecraft. Mining, which is breaking blocks to get smth, killing mobs to get their loot, crafting smth new from materials that u mainly get from 2 previous methods and building, which is placing blocks to create smth new in the world. All the other mechanisms (and there r a lot of them) r basically either related to, type of or become available thanks to the main 4. As for the goal of the game, since u can do anything in Minecraft, there's really no final goal. U set ur goals urself based on what u want, how things develop and other things. There r some important points which u probably want to do eventually, but I'll let u figure them out on ur own. Hope my comment was both helpful and not spoilery, can't wait for the continuation.

    You've come full circle here in so many ways. Your channel started as a video game reaction channel, right? Hence the name "SephPlays". And it looks like you're back in the corner of the room, at your PC, next to the sliding glass door, wearing the Teletubby headphones (you fixed them!), just as you did with your original videos before you implemented the green screen and the "Leaning Tower of Seph."
    Video games are your real passion, aren't they? I was obsessed with them as a kid. I played the Atari 2600 and ColecoVision for hours on end. But then that all vanished when I discovered music.
    These comments were funny and unexpected.
    "Why does that look like a penis?"
    "I'm gonna jump on the pen... owwwaahh...daaah.. ouch! There's a lot of women that's been there..."
    Btw, you look absolutely adorable here.

    • @SephPlays
      @SephPlays  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Omg i adored the 2600. Jungle Hunt was probably my favorite game for it, I didn't own the ColecoVision but I had a friend who owned one. I remember being a tiny bit confused with the controller though, it was the one with the overlays right? Do you remember what games you had with them?

    • @balovett
      @balovett 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@SephPlays Yeah, the ColecoVision had the controller with the number pad and overlays, but few of the games used them. It wasn't a very easy controller to use. That tiny nub of a joystick was a bit awkward.
      Here's some of the 2600 games I remember playing. The first 4 I recall playing a lot. But my folks bought me the ColecoVision for Christmas in 1982, and after that I rarely played the 2600. So a lot of my memories are associated with the ColecoVision. I had a lot more 2600 games than these, but they are the only ones that jump out at me when looking through a list.
      Pitfall!
      Kaboom!
      Adventure
      Raiders of the Lost Ark
      Breakout
      Skiing
      Frogger
      Pac-Man
      Combat
      It's fascinating to see you react to playing a video game. It brings out a completely different side of your personality. A far more frenetic, humorous, and mischievous side. It got me wondering if this side was more representative of what you are like when socializing.

    • @SephPlays
      @SephPlays  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@balovett I've played most of them you listed to death over the years. It was only up until recently I sold my atari funnily enough.
      When I'm with friends I would say I'm a pretty reserved kinda guy BUT I'm super talkative. I'll stand and chat for hours if given half the chance. I'm sensible to a fault, but when I'm truly zoned into something such as a movie or game that's when my random nature comes out to play haha 😂 I go from a 36 year old one minute to a 10 year old on sherbert the next ☠️

    • @balovett
      @balovett 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@SephPlays My buddy, who never had any of these video game systems as a child, has been on a quest in recent years to purchase all of these old video game systems, including the 2600, Vectrex, IntelliVision, ColecoVision, and all the associated games. Of course the challenge then is that most of them either don't work or are only partially functioning. He's enlisted my help to try to get them to work since I studied electrical engineering in college and worked in the industry designing electronics for 5 years after school. But I've found that actually playing the games, even the ones I loved as a kid, hold almost no joy now. The story of my life, really. Once I'm done with something, I virtually never return to it, with the exception of music. I mine the past for music I've loved at different stages of my life constantly.
      It's this multi-faceted nature of your personality and behaviors that make your channel so interesting. You are a study in contradictions. And that just draws me further in.

    Normaly when i see a video about peoples playing minecraft for the first time, their way of playing gives me "common do that already!!" Vibe... but you have that little thing that makes me want to look at you struggling to understand...
    Ps there is a few features like the "conduit" item that there is not a single clue in the game that tell you how to use it or what is its purpose... do not wories about that spoil... it is a thing that must be placed in a particular structure that you have to build and it grant you underwater breath within a range of the thing... ("have to"... not at all in fact... as you dont need it to finish the game and it does not stop or slow your progression... it is just a costy convenience for underwater playground)... nobody use it anyway...
