Love seeing Geoff's wife collaborating with his art, this is so beautiful
She used to sing with him in their shows in opera but she lost her hearing and had to stop. They have a video on his channel on the topic, it is super cute to watch them but also sad to hear she lost her ability to hear properly.
Voiceplay is like watching an expert glassblower at work. The different shapes of their voices, swirling, flowing together, each one standing out yet still part of a whole of sheer artistry.

Geoff's acting as he woke up as "the perfect man" almost seemed doll-like and very convincing. And that scene was very cute and heartwarming.
Clearly Geoff is a man of many talents. Also big shoutout to Kathy for her lovely performance in this video. It made it feel almost like a fairy tale coming true.
And about the musical arrangement and performance: Top notch as always. Damn, Anthony, you falsetto seems effortless. Great job Layne on the arrangement.

This is just the sweetest video for *so* many reasons.
First, there is the incredible arrangement. It's soooo pretty (and beautifully sung).
Second, there is the added bridge. Also pretty, but its lyrics are just so heartwarming.
Third, there is Anthony, the perfect collaborator for this song. His voice just soars so spectacularly in it.
Fourth, the narrative. Such a delightful, lovely story being told in this video. My heart swells in adoration.

Layne's beatboxing has improved so much from just simple snares and drums to the amazing sounds that he can make today! Seeing his family grow also put a smile on my face. And the background of the carrot Lord! 🥕
Eli's voice astounds me how much more confident it sounds and just amazing! The evolution of his beard recently is also cool perfect vocal fit for this song!
Seeing the cast change throughout the years was awesome aswell from Tony with amazing stage presence and vocals to J None who is so charismatic and a really awesome singer and now with Cesar who has an angelic range and really cool hair, it has truelly been awesome to witness this. And let's not forget about Earl who I miss and was an awesome character and insane high tenor with a laser voice!
Not to mention the production quality has improved so much from that first video they uploaded, just goes to show the really great improvement of production and arrangement! Well done!

This really turned out to be such a beautiful video!! The arrangement and vocals were already gorgeous, but the story just leveled it all up even further. Before the Patreon experience of making this video, I don't think I ever understood just how important the story telling element is with music. I've actually learned quite a bit since becoming a VoicePlay fan, about music and myself, so thanks for that, guys!

But their idea was along the lines of Pinocchio, which I didn’t think of until someone else mentioned it. My mind went to Frankenstein and Westworld and the creepy guys in Buffy the Vampire Slayer who made their “perfect woman”. But when they said they thought Pinocchio, I too found it cute 😊 (I should have thought about Pinocchio with the toy store sign, but I haven’t read it since I was a child).

Okay, coming back in to add this: I didn't know JVKE's original, so I didn't know where Geoff's new bridge begins and ends. Now that I *have* listened to the original, I can say with confidence that Geoff's addition elevates the entire song to a whole new level.
