I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
Passing the LSAT is when you study hard,if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself help like Mr Thomas
I had interest in working with him but I was discouraged by my friends out of ignorance 😔
I have a cousin who never studied much,we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than studies after writing the LSAT test she passed and I failed😣, I asked her how she did it, just found out she got her help from Mr Thomas ..
Sometimes hard work doesn’t pay you have to back it up with smartness🤓, I think your cousin understood that perfectly

Congrats on getting into UT Law & as a first gen student! 🎉🙌🏽 I just found your channel, but would love to learn more about your background & how you prepped for applying to law school. GPA, LSAT prep, internships, etc. Best of luck during your first year 😀🎉
Drip is still a good look!
*And I mean the coffee :)
Congrats on getting into UT that is so amazing 🤩 Just binge watched all of your videos and I love your content! I just decided to take a gap year to save money and get a higher score and UT is one of my top choices. I would love to hear about your experience thus far as a first gen POC student!
Ah thank you so much for the support, it means the world to me!! Once the semester is over I really want to do a Q&A video about my experiences thus far so pls lmk if you have any questions :)))
BTW Amaris is my sister in law's name! Glad that your video showed up as a suggestion today.
How exciting! Wishing you the best of luck!
Thank you so much!!
Congrats on getting in and good luck!
Good luck! I’m in the paralegal program and I’m thinking about law school at UT! Can’t wait to see more of your content ❤️
Thank you for being here!
Congrats! Cant wait to see your journey :)
It's great that you have a background on Con Law & Crim Law, but what you'll learn in these courses is all new content. It involves a lot of BLLs ( Black Letter Law). So on that note, you'll be starting from scratch.
oh I'm sure the content will be different, but I think being familiar with some of the vocabulary and concepts like culpable mental states and strict scrutiny will definitely help in understanding the readings and in-class discussions more!!
@@AmarisIsabelDiaz Do you refer to ,Mens Rea & Actus Reas then 1st/ 2st degree Murder, Manslaughter- voluntary/ Involuntary Manslaughter, Heat of passion, & Felony Murder. All based on CL & State law.
Congratulations!!! 🥳
Thank you!!
Lovely video! Good luck!👍🏻
Can u talk more about the law preview program? How do you apply?
Barbery as well
Hey! Quick question; do you think that UT law school is extraordinarily
challenging as a 1L? Or is it fairly straight forward for the most part?
I wouldn't say 1L has been extraordinary challenging but something I have been coming to terms with recently is the fact since UT is a T20 school, there are many brilliant and intelligent people here and that means that I won't always be the shining star in the class. That might sound silly but I think that is the best way to explain the rigor of Texas Law.
I deferred until next year (was a bit worried about class size). But I'll see you on campus next year. Good luck on your upcoming tests!
I was definitely super stressed about the size of the class but honestly it hasn't been that big of a detriment! Since we are split up into sections, and further into societies, it has felt like I am still getting a small school experience even the class is over 400+!
@@AmarisIsabelDiaz For me, I was stressed about the class size because I wasn't sure if the career services office would be able to give my class the same quality of attention and that it'd be more competitive for law review (since I want BigLaw).
How are the profs?
@@jamesticknor1134 profs have been truly amazing! If you end up getting either Strong (crim), Morse (property), Wagner (torts), or Schiess (legal writing) you will be amazing hands next year!!
What were your extracurriculars & internships when applyingb
Congrats!!!
Thank you so much!!
What do your parents do for a living ? How are you paying for law school ?
is needed to check if the " All the Professors " have Ph.d because a lot of Professors in this Schools of Law don't have the PhD even to be a Professors
Gpa and lsat??
