- Before Godzilla vs Kong, we questioned what would happen if Kong were to win against Godzilla. Fast forward to today and we know that Kong wasn't quite able to overthrow the king of the monsters. But in this theory, I go deep into a story of how Kong could have won and what would have happened to the monsterverse storyline if he did.

At first, it felt exactly like that moment in the Jurassic World episode of “The Nostalgia Critic”, where Jon Bailey is hired to narrate the end fight and he eventually says “then a mechanical T-Rex came in and burned them alive”.
I don't think kong would care about being KOTM but instead knowing and acknowledging he defeated his kinds rival and would return to a peaceful life

I mean if godzilla dies the earth would be done for. Even if mechagodzilla was destroyed. Kong doesn't live as long as the other kaiju so they would eventually wake upp and retake the surface with nobody to stop them.

If Kong defeated Godzilla, then he would be at disadvantage because 1: Kong needs Godzilla's atomic breath to charge up his ax to destroy MechaGodzilla. And 2: it would be difficult for Kong to fight against MechaGodzilla One-on-One even with his Ax. His Ax would power down.
Most people would say, "Kong can just put his axe in the slot made for it so it could charge."
I say, "Even if Kong made to the entrance, Mechagodzilla will have probably wounded him to the point where he's bleeding out severely, and would fall into the Hollow Earth 2005 style. Then, Mechagodzilla would fire his proton scream down, and killing Kong if he survived."

Despite Kong not being as experienced or formidable as I’d hoped legendary would make him, not to mention Godzilla getting buffed through out the Monsterverse. Both Titans would still ultimately die by the cold metal hands of Mechagodzilla if neither alpha chose to help fight along side with the other.
No doubt fought Mechagodzilla get beat up and most likely killed if his axe wasn't charged all the way. 6:50 no he still has a purpose kill other titans that are still alive

Honestly, if they do end up having a rematch, I feel as though Kong would have a better chance; he knows how Godzilla fights, as well as how powerful the axe is.
I think ur forgetting something, Godzilla was previously supercharged and now after sooo long without any of his kind competing over the radiation source he will probably become Godzilla Earth of the monster-verse.
Yeah Kong will hopefully be more experienced if the directors decide to make Kong as experienced as the other incarnations of him. And hopefully Kong would be strong enough to lift Godzilla if the director decides not to nerf Kong's physical strength. Even Gojicenter said that Kong should be able to lift Godzilla. And although nobody wants to admit it, Gojicenter has a clear huge bias towards Godzilla, and even they said that Kong should be able to lift Godzilla. Even though it makes sense that Godzilla won in the movie since he was supercharged and Kong's experience was nerfed, they should have made Kong as physically strong as he should logically be. And Kong has room to grow since he's relatively young. So hopefully if they make them fight again the fight would be more even, thus making it more interesting and an overall better, longer, and cooler fight.
Godzilla doesn’t just go around and roars he evolves over time. So the next time Kong fights Godzilla he’s gonna fight a more stronger more advanced Godzilla.
@@684avatar Godzilla ia already fully grown. The only thing that makes him evolve is massive amounts of nuclear radiation. Godzilla's source of radiation was destroyed in kotm, so now the only way for Godzilla to become more powerful is through getting nuked by humans. So, if the directors decide to take away Godzilla's plot armor and not power him up for the 3rd time, then a rematch can be more equal.

I thought of a cool twist for the fight in the movie: When Kong sticks his axe in Godzilla’s thigh and Godzilla removes it, Godzilla will then try to use his atomic breath on Kong. However he can’t expel any radiation from his mouth because the axe handle (as we all know) is made from the leg of a MUTO. The residual electro-magnetic energy in the bone is basically injected into Godzilla via the dorsal plate, which causes his atomic breath to become significantly reduced and/or obsolete like in 2014, but in this case it’s only temporary. This gives Kong a chance at a more fair fight, because to be honest I thought Godzilla spamming his atomic breath the whole time was ridiculous.

Is it crazy that part of this theory would be better than what we got? Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the movie we got and Godzilla winning. But imagine having three locations where Kong and Godzilla fight with the last one in the throne room which would have been poetic giving the rivalry between the two species. The one thing I would change is have Godzilla eventually win the throne room fight and still be the definitive winner. But what would have been cool to see is in Dangerville’s theory in this video how kong gives out a loud roar when pinned down by mecha Godzilla and the creatures of the hollow earth fight against mechagodzilla . What if that was when Kong decides to team up with Godzilla to finish. Then Godzilla and Kong eventually finish of mechagodzilla. This would’ve been cool because the entire movie was about Kong finding his home and him giving a roar that makes the creatures come to his aid would show Kong finally taking his rightful place as a king. The king of the hollow earth and even though Godzilla beats kong he realizes Kong’s significance as the ruler of the hollow earth while Godzilla would still remain the King of the monsters. they should make a second movie when godzilla tries to take over the throne room and be king of the surface and the hollow earth but then kong puts a stop to it and eventually wins in the movie. Good theory video. I honestly don't see the monsterverse version of Kong defeating the monsterverse version of Godzilla in any scenario. If Kong did kill Godzilla, it would simply create an imbalance via a power vacuum. Mechagodzilla would still be possessed by Ghidorah due to humans not understanding the consequences of using Ghidorah's skull and the power source of the hollow earth in their machine, and it would kill Kong, since Kong is simply not strong enough to defeat mechagodzilla without help. If the world lost both Godzilla and Kong, it would be the end of humanity and the titans. Like Serizawa said, "the arrogance of man is thinking nature is in their control and not the other way around".

If Kong defeated Godzilla he would be chilling. He isn’t really interested in becoming the KOTM he just wants to be in peace and relax in his home and be the king of skull island and hollow earth.

I liked the idea of Kong doing what Godzilla did towards the end of the Godzilla Rulers of Earth comic series; it just means Kong has his own army to help. I think I can see that happening, maybe even with Kong finding a hidden pocket of the hollow Earth where a few members of his species are thriving.

Mechagodzilla (Kevin) would've beaten up Kong for taking his place in defeating Godzilla. Godzilla vs Kong is a case similar to Iron Man vs Captain America and Superman vs Batman. They fight then they make up by fighting the real enemy.

Maybe, Kong would have spared Godzilla, as Godzilla spared him. Even with Godzilla losing, the scenario of a team up between the two titular titans could have happened.
Kong knows he needs Godzilla's breath, to charge up his axe. And, with Godzilla's breath, charging up King Kongs axe, he could have still taken down Mecha.
Both could still have parted, as friends.
Not to mention it would give Godzilla a much better representation of his emotional intelligence and his ability to accept and forgive. Or if they didn't want to go that route, they could just say Godzilla respects him as the new alpha.

They showed us Kong could’ve won if he went to Godzilla after he knocked his ass out. In the novelization of the movie, it said that axe blow to Godzilla’s face actually knocked him out for a few minutes, so Kong could’ve done something to Godzilla while he was sleeping, like swing his axe at his gills or do something. But Godzilla is the winner, and I’m not mad because it shows both of them can beat each other depending on the circumstance.
That would be a coward way for Kong to kill Godzilla. But that would probably be the only way for Kong to ACTUALLY kill Godzilla, in his sleep. So I don’t blame him

The Author of the novel confirms the axe only stunned Godzilla. The novel also said the axe hit Godzilla in the mouth.

There were a few points in the film where things could have ended differently. Kong could have finished off Godzilla after briefly KOing him with the ax but didn't because the movie had to movie further into Mechagodzilla.

I guess the canonical explanation of that is how Kong only wanted to get back at Godzilla after the latter destroyed the throne room, which is what he got after defeating Godzilla in round 2, but he didn't necessarily want him dead.

Even if I support Kong despite being a Godzilla Fan, I feel like Kong's making a terrible mistake when it comes to killing predatory Titans. Without Godzilla, the world was turned into chaos as Titans roamed the ecosystem, and Kong doesn't appreciate Destroyer Titans as instead of standing them down, he kills them all. And I don't think Hollow Earth animals would've save Kong from MechaGodzilla, possessed or not, as they're just minding their own business, and even so, Kong wouldn't be able to kill MechaGodzilla with an axe as his blade wouldn't power it up without Godzilla's atomic breath, and Kong is dead for his folly. I guess this is the reason why Godzilla and his kind had to wipe out the Kongs because they're 'too intelligent' to fit in the Titan ecosystem.

The dude that studies the wolves hates Godzilla for what happened to Andrew, and when Godzilla was displaying his lights, it was for that one guy. After he was nuked and surfaced he looked right at that guy, and knew that HE was the reason Godzilla was aided, and so he didn’t kill them then and there.

If king won there would be a Godzilla jr. Toho said if you had to kill off godzilla he had to leave an offspring. Godzilla jr. would be stronger then Godzilla when he grows up most likely strong than Godzilla himself, so no matter what Godzilla would still technically "live" because of right it would be like mothra he would have all the skills.

If Kong won like you imagined you can forget every thing else. This could've been how they set up Mechagodzilla and the new entry in the monsterverse. Imagine the end credits Kong believes he's won and decides to relax only to see his Axe glow. Kong picks up the Axe and takes a good look at it but then he hears something familiar. He takes a look then see's a energy blast in the sky then hears Godzilla's enraged roar as he stares in horor. The new movie can be called Kong: Godzilla's Revenge.

Kong woulda been out of the frying pan but into the fire, if for whatever reason Kong beat Mechagodzilla he woulda had the other titans like Behemoth, Scylla and Tiamat to deal with some I don’t think he’d have a chance against, any aquatic titan Kong, would been hopeless against and there’s Rodan who I think was the king before Ghidorah defeated over Mexico he’d jump at the chance to get his title back
All those titans are kinda fodder. If For some reason, Kong did best mechagodzilla, He wouldn't care about anything else. Unless someone encroached on his territory. Kong's the second strongest titan alive, after all. 5th strongest if we're counting dead titans.

Yknow, this does make me wonder what could happen if Apex had studied the Hollow Earth energy. Maybe they could've made it more than a power source with some boosted punches and kicks. Who knows, maybe they could've found a way for MG to manipulate the energy into whatever it wanted. Would be pretty cool.

Godzilla loses to Kong, MechaGodzilla would face Kong instead of the G-man. The fight wouldn't last a minute since the mechanized titan would overpower Kong with ease, due to its advanced weaponry. If Godzilla did lose, no doubt Warnerbros would've mentioned about the G-man having a son or there would be a second Godzilla just like in several incarnations of Godzilla.
You forgot one thing, DOUG and every other creature of the Hollow Earth is on Kong's side now

Mechagodzillas purpose was defeating Godzilla not kong which means mecha has the tools to defeat godzilla not kong since it knows more about godzilla than kong it would be safe to assume kong would most likely win that. The mech wouldn't really know how to deal with kong as much as it knows how to deal with godzilla

That was so cool! I would like to add another dimension to this story which might make it more interesting.
Having become King of the Hollow Earth, Kong has been focusing on fulfilling his role and has not had human contact for a long time. Over time he has been growing more savage. His memory of Jia is slowly fading. Jia is now living in the city with Dr Andrews, going to school and integrating into modern society. She misses Kong, but understands that he has other priorities now and she should not disturb him.
After the attack by MG, Kong is angry with the human race. His kingdom was attacked, and he will not stand for it. He rallies the other titans and beasts in the hollow earth for war against the surface. The humans must be taught to know their place.
The monsters attack, levelling whole cities and killing hundreds of thousands of lives. Military intervention proves futile, as always. Monarch tries to pacify Kong with the Orca, but he is too smart to be deceived. Humanity is facing an unstoppable force.
Seeing the events unfold, Jia and Dr Andrews embark on a journey to find Kong and calm him down. Meanwhile, a team of Monarch operatives led by Mark Russel journey to the Hollow Earth to find a way to stop the attacks.
As they search, a huge explosion erupts and the piercing sound of a familiar roar fills the air. The King has awoken. Nature has cried out to him for help once more. He knows who is responsible. The same creature that put that axe in his head is the one who has disrupted the natural order.
With renewed vigour and seething rage, he sets out to end this once and for all. Balance must be restored, the threat must be eliminated...

There is no way this could have happened because Godzilla can’t fit in that hole unless he dove headfirst on purpose so Kong would come back up but Godzilla would be ready and still win the fight. And also the hollow earth titans would not be able to weaken MechaGodzilla that much because he could step on a lot of them stun punch some laser some and stab some and Mecha would go for the kill on Kong straight away
