The question isn't a matter of the power upkeep needed and or supplied . Mechagodzilla is a machine. Pure and simple. Without the massive upkeep needed to function I couldn't envision MG working past a couple days.
The standard type bulldozer requirements must participate in daily upkeeps that without would cripple it and cause catastrophic failures if not met. MG has over 5K more points of maintenance necessities.
yah but technology in mg is far more advanced it myt not need as much maintenance as a machine in reality.
So much this. Whatever damage Mechagodzilla receives, it's permanent. It may take some time and resources, but he's eventually going down and it'll be for good

Until someone just hacks into it. Mechagodzilla/Ghidorah had to be connected to the computer to some degree, as pouring water on it caused it to glitch for a bit, meaning it's AI could in theory be connected to and tampered with to sever it's power source. All someone would need to do is cut off it's connection to the hollow earth energy source, and boom, it's power is gone in a matter of seconds.
Btw, I haven't watched the video yet, so this is just my theory as of now.

@@charlottelinlin9856 Well whoever gets defeated, there will probably always be another monster waiting to rise up. It could go on and on but the video was only concerned with events immediately surrounding Mechagodzilla.
I think that a regular nuke would work just fine. The designer for MG confirmed that the metal used to create MG was some sort of Titanium alloy.
Now I don't know how strong Titanium is, but I don't think it can withstand a *freaking nuclear explosion!*

Fascinating theory, it was both interesting and heartbreaking to me. It's just like they say to the fact that you can stop the body but never the soul because souls never die, it makes perfect sense that Ghidorah would be that motivated to fulfilling his plans after finally putting an end to his greatest enemy. Would you mind doing a theory video on what would've happened if Mothra had flown in to aid Godzilla and Kong in their battle to take MechaGodzilla down? I've wondered about something like that for a long time.

Man you remember there was a human who was inside mechagodzilla he would just malfunction the mecha so it breaks down if mechagodzilla managed to kill Godzilla and Kong but luckily Mecha never managed to kill them.

@@AbdulAzeez-up4nw I mean he can malfunction mechagodzilla by throwing water just like in the movie, in the control panel and also it is the left head of ghidorah also known as Kevin I doubt it, even if Kevin manages to kill both Godzilla and Kong which would never happen, would not be able to live without months of repairing. Mechagodzilla power source will run out eventually leading to the victory of humans.

that's what i've been thinking until now, because Godzilla defeating MechaGodzilla feels like De Javu, repeating the same formula over and over again. If Godzilla vs Kong end with MechaGodzilla defeating Godzilla, it will be great plot twist and give the series a new terror for their next sequel. Anyway, i still enjoy the third Godzilla remake movie, the plot & pacing is the best of the 3, and rate it above Godzilla 1 & KOTM

Honestly I figure it would be easy to take Mecha G out. I mean compared to a Titans body the Metal Mecha G is made of wouldnt be able to shrug of a large missile barrage especially if they used Napalm or Thermite. The metal would soften warp and the sheer weight of its body would tear itself apart
It's made to fight the strongest titans, i don't see it being defeated by what the others couldn't be defeated
Edit: it should certainly have defense against EMPs since even real life military tech is protected

Even if Mechagodzilla had won, it would have been in vain.
Even with Godzilla dead, Ghidorah wouldn't win, Ren wouldn't have won, no-one had won.
Mechagodzilla killed in revenge, not to prolong it's survival, or take over the planet. Now that Ghidorah was dead, there was no hope in colonizing the planet, it would have died no matter what. Ghidorah was doomed the moment godzilla killed it, so it killed everything in anger, revenge, ect...
But in the end, it didn't matter... inevitably it rusted and decayed, it was over.
Life's goal is to spread and conquer, but since Ghidorah couldn't reproduce in it's mechanical state, it couldn't do anything except wait and hope whatever sent it to earth would return and give it salvation, but...

At best it gained a pyrrhic victory because it permanently killed its ancient archenemy Godzilla at last (not to mention it's probably caused untold long-term damage to the Earth's entire biosphere with the regional extinction it's caused in the Hollow Earth and messing with the planet's core and mining the energy source). At worst, Ghidorah!MechaG won the battle but lost the war.

I actually agree with this. Godzilla may have some minor regenerative powers but it's no match to the proton scream. Please note that I am talking about the legendary incarnation of Godzilla, I know other Godzilla like Godzilla in hell which can destroy infinite multiverses, that thing can beat freaking Goku even in his most powerful form, the legendary Godzilla compared to this is.... Also no exeption, it too is very powerful but it ultimately can't regenerate to that level like other Godzilla incarnations. To put it in short, I agree with this theory
I also think the theory would have gone different With Godzilla and Kong dead titans would rise and try to fight to be king like in KOTM unfortunately they would meet Mechagodzilla and most likely die as a result

I'm very convinced MechaG wouldn't be able to decapitate Godzilla. Godzilla's insides must be at least as durable as his outer body, considering the atomic breath originates from somewhere down in there...
While true, I don't imagine Godzilla's body was built with the intention of a blast downward, it would eventually tare thought him, due to the insane pressure build up.
Think of it like water, if you keep pouring water into a sealed container, eventually it will Crack, then the Crack will burst, afterwards the container is broken.
That's my thoughts at least.
@@spider-soniczilla2989 a very fair point! Godzilla may still be able to regenerate, though. He has that second brain in his hips, and if he was given a huge amount of radiation, he could probably regenerate his head and damaged organs 🤷 (he was able to totally come back from an oxygen destroyer after being fed a single nuke, and it has been suggested by some that Gojiras can regenerate from just a skeleton if given enough radiation)
I understand Godzilla got weakened digging to the hallow earth but what I don't understand is that Godzilla is millions of years old so Godzilla should be able to use his atomic breath a lot longer then when he fought Kong. Like beings millions of years old should be able to fight for a week without being tired.
Edit: especially when Godzilla swims in the water.

I mean in 2014 he was fighting the male muto for hours and still had enough to mess up the female muto in 2019 he did fought Ghidorah for a solid 12 mins without a break and in gvk he was against the world for 2 weeks straight i mean i don't know how long he was against the world in gvk but i know that he was fighting them for for more than a few days
Don't forget that before Godzilla fought Kong, he expended his energy using his Atomic Breath to burrow all the way down to the Hollow Earth - his tank was likely half-empty already at the start of his and Kong's last fight.

Not entirely true. Since Godzilla is the alpha titan, Mechagodzilla would become the alpha by beating Godzilla. So the titans would bow down to Mechagodzilla, and Mechagodzilla would probably command them to do his bidding of destroying all of humanity.

Remember how they spilled a drink into the control system of Mecha G and it almost caused it to stop functioning? All they had to do is destroy that control base and Mecha G would stop. It's not a living being it was just a mechanical creature controlled by the consciousness of another titan. It would eventually run out of power, weapons and lead it to being destroyed
Either kill the other Titans and make use of their remains or capitalize/ milk them till they die
