This is officially my favorite Jay Leno's Garage episode. The three of them should make a car together. Be sure to include puppeteer controls for Dunham, so the car can suddenly interact with spectators.

Bald caps work great in practical costumes. Especially if you use one to custom make a hair style. Then the hair draws away from the cap and it all looks more real. I did one once for school to dress up as Leonardo Da Vinci with his old man hair.

In my opinion the 89' Batmobile is the best. I actually remember his Batman Returns Batmobile on Ebay about 4 or 5 years ago. I read that he hat won the listing but had forgot about it until seeing this.

I saw Jeff doing stand-up about 10 years ago. I laughed more than at any other comedy show. And I've seen Seinfeld, Carlin before he died, Gallagher, Tom Papa, Dave Chappelle, Fluffy, Larry the Cable Guy etc over the years

Every single time that I am seeing the original version of the Batmobile that was only driven by the original Batman, I feel as if I am warped to the year 1966.

That's the first time since the tonight show I've seen Jay wear something other than the denim pants, denim shirt combo. He's like Einstein probably has 6 or 7 of the same outfit.
History Lesson Boys, The original Batmobiles were built by , ta da.........wait for it .......
It was Karl Krumme, and the only guy to work on all 6 Batmobiles was Randy Wright, Randy is the last man alive who actually wroked on the original Batmobiles. Karl Krumme is the Concept Car Builder / Car Customizer who customized the Ford Futura and turned in to the Batmoble as we know it today. Randy Wright then made the molds and 5 fiberglass bodies for George, so technically Randy Wright is the only guy to have worked on all 6 original classic Batmobiles
I speak to Randy often and hes alway happy to talk shop
Karl Krumme was refered to by George Barris as the Bondo King. Randys nick name was Mikey as in lets get mikey he will do anything. If you know anyghing about fiberglass work, you now there is no glammer in it and everybody hates it, and yet Randy or Mikey was the go to guy for the most difficult progects.

The kinetic art car was extraordinary! This is a good reason for why our society needs to support the arts; because even given a thousand years, Ford, Gm, Chrysler, etc. would never build a "vehicle" such as this. Like it or hate it, it will populate parades for the next twenty years, easy, because it's unique, and shows off the artist's vision, and there's a large, money spending audience for it.

Its pretty common at auctions actually, the rules for auctions are setup so that if the auctioneer would have stopped the auction the last bidder would have won legally. So even if the bidders start dropping dead in droves that auctioneer will still call going once twice sold to make sure that there are no more bids on the item because they are selling an item for someone else and it would be cheating them out of potential money if they stopped it.
Dunham had 100% no interest in that thing. Lol
