I seen this car in Chicago Craigslist a few months back. Was considering it but was a little too rusty for me. Glad to see it given the love it deserves 👍
@@yoitsmearwyn2519 your actually thinking of a different car that looked nearly identical in terms of rust lol. My buddy owned that one, this car was never listed for sale, owned by PO since 2013, he reached out to me directly haha
@@m3nameisjosh464 crazy what are the odds😆. Either way its good to see ppl taking care of these cars. Picked one up last month been sorting it out. Your videos and others are really helpful
E34 heaven! Whoa dude, what a transformation. I swapped a trunk from a '91 to a '95 with no mods, joyous days! You're lucky dude, my sister never helped me with anything! Love those metric wheels, had them on mine until the run flats started to show cracking. Brendan the racing driver 😎, his brother looked stoked, imagine your first car being a BMW, not any BMW, an e34 no less, and then a V8 6speed, that guy is going to have so much fun. I'd sure buy a motor from Josh any day, top guy giving away his prized fog lamp! ....and my cousin lived in St. Louis too!...👍🙏❤
@@habsom1406 hahah my sister has been out a few times to help me. Im very appreciative! And yessir a 540/6 is an absolutely rad first car. He will enjoy it!!!
What a great car bro, as an european I'm so jealous of you guys for having these cars, I mean the E34s V8 seems common in US compared to Europe.. The sound of that M60 is so awesome, especially with the 6 speed. Unfortunately we are forced to deal with the 2.0/2.5i 😕 Bigger engines, bigger taxes and ofc expensive gas..
HE63s (auto V8s) are somewhat common but HE53 (manual V8s) are pretty rare here, they only made 1524 of them including the 139 M-Sports and 32 CA market M540s for 95 only - These cars have been under appreciated for waaaaaay too long and I'm happy they seem to finally getting some time in proverbial sun.
Love to see another HE53 back in the fray - these cars are uncommon and absolute sweet hearts with a bit of TLC. This will be a great car for the new owner
Damn if my wagon had black sport seats, I wouldn’t have had to go through the hassle of putting Vaders in. And yeah, doing the clutch sucks. Did mine before Vintage 2023. And M60B40 is 282 HP at 5800, 295 Ft-Lb at 4500. So right on.
If I have a 1990 E34 that doesn’t have a cabin air filter like the later models, do you have any ideas on how I could retrofit one by the HVAC system so the fans don’t spew so much dust? I just converted my AC to R134a and i really want to include an air filter though I don’t know if it’s possible. Do you have any advice?
