Who at ubisoft saw the crazy detailed, immersive historical worlds they'd created for AC and thought "this needs some Sci fi doomsday story tacked onto it"
@@mariosdaskalakis2680 fr I can never understand people who get bored with the modern day. It makes these games so much more interesting, at least when it's good. I can't see the appeal of just playing as Assassins in historical eras that just boring. At least the modern day gave us a reason to go back in time and relive playing as an ancestor with the Animus.
This is literally my favorite piece of the lore. I absolutely cannot wrap my head around the hate for the modern day and "The ones who came before". (Although I will say, it gets pretty rough after AC3, so I get the hate for the way they made it after Revelations)
Revelations was the last true Assassin’s Creed game for me. The story, gameplay and soundtrack made it a masterpiece. No offense to Connor and the other assassins that continued the legacy, but there’s something about Altaïr and Ezio that can never be replaced in this franchise.
I remember the time I mowed someone lawn for 20$ when I was young and used it to get the ezio trilogy on ps3, revelations was my favorite out of all them I played it nonstop
The end of the world was talked about a lot since AC 2 and everything felt like a “oh time to save the world” type thing. But when I saw this scene it really put into perspective how important the mission was, and it pulled me in deep making me just as desperate as the main characters to stop what was coming.
When i first seen the temple i knew something is Off about that place, that something bad will happen there it gave me a strange vibe Like this place will be important becouse something bad will happen there and it was exactly Like i thought, now watching these and seeing the temple At the end it gives me goosebumps
This is NEITHER. This is a depiction of a supposed catastrophe that happened in the universe of AC over 70000 years ago. In real life, it's known as Toba eruption and Toba near extinction event. It triggered Ice Age. It reduced numbers of people on the whole Earth to like 3 to 10 thousand people, generating a huge genetic bottleneck. It was really a horrible event.
i was in ore of the look of it but the part that tears my up every time is the child so innocent but the people falling down in the fire so reminds me of krypton from super man the movie
@@Tobythefirst1 I mean an 8K TV though. Cause no one who watches this video can watch it in 8K unless they have an 8K display to watch it on. Most display are 1920x1080.
That moment of a mother using her own body to shield her baby will never not be a gut punch.

The guy that made the franchise in the first place
Nothing interesting about playing historical events. Few people would care. By creating a sci fi lore in the series, they saved it.

man this scene is sad especially that women with the baby
@@KuKluxSlider Atleast they died quick. Unlike the remaining isu.
Connor had his Chad moments but he had a fair few goofy ones too lol
If ac1-rogue is the golden age, then Ezio trilogy is platinum age.
Not sure what to put in between but ac1-3 does have the desmond saga.
AC 3 still had the Desmond story at least but AC was never the same after that
This sound tracks and this scene never fails to bring tears into my eyes.
Me too t
I don't play Assassins Creed but I find this cutscene very interesting especially how it is sequenced
This game is just a masterpiece
No cap
Absolutely. ❤️💯👏🏼
This game was hated back in the day, though.
@@cidioseand then we got everything from Unity to Valhalla so it really made this game seem much better. But I’ve loved it since day one

Patrick Star was right, we should have pushed earth, and we should have pushed it somewhere else.
I remember this… . It was pretty intense… .
Ah, the good ol' days before this franchise became Ubisoft's golden egg chicken.

Is that true or just prediction of global warming in this ending?
its depiction of a solar flare which could happen at any time, in fact there's one supposed to be coming on monday lol

Still dont know who this woman is. There hasnt been any explanation of Adam and Eve....there hasnt been any closure.
Pretty sure Adam and Eve are Desmond and Layla
I think its a random woman
The first and Ezio trilogy and AC IV were the best games in the series. For me the last real Assassins Creed game was the fourth one.
Time flies doesn’t it? Too bad Ubisoft screwed things over but oh well things change
The sun: We didnt start the flaaare.
Very epic !!!
Who has a screen that can actually render 8k though
Uhhh
A TV?
