I am applying for the ED.L.D program for this upcoming year and I am working on my statement of purpose. Do you have any experience with this program and the application process? I am only interested in studying at Harvard so I have not applied to other places, but do you think I should to strengthen my application?

I don’t have particular experience applying to EDLD programs because I applied to PhD in Education programs, however, the application process is the same across all programs. Here is my statement of purpose derive if you want me to review and provide constructive feedback to yours: www.fiverr.com/s/BRKzDWy?CopyLink_Mobile.

Hello, i do follow your videos and these help me a lot i writing my SOP. In this video, could you please tell me if need to manage a supervisor before applying to the PhD program in HGSE?

If you need help perfecting your SOP, I offer a statement of purpose review service: www.fiverr.com/s/rErX1w7?CopyLink_Mobile.
In terms of your question, you do not need to have a supervisor prior to applying. What you do need to do is search the website for 2-3 faculty whose research and work aligns with yours and write about them in your statement of purpose. You also need to tell the committee in the SOP why and how each faculty will help advance your work and help you achieve your research and career goals.

I love your channel, it's so informative. I completed the PhD application for Harvard Education last month and this video helped me go back and look at my application and I believe I was able to weave my research within the application, omg, I'm soooooo nervous, but thank you for your help with PhD prospects!

I just got a bad grade in a research related subject at university and can't retake the exam...will a single bad grade influence a possible future application at a phd program even with a high GPA?

No! Just make sure you maintain a high gpa as well as use other evidence to offset the low grade

@@IvanValdovinosGradSchool Thank you for your reply Ivan, it really lifted my mood after that failed exam. Do you know by any chance where I can find out if my grades are equivalent or even close to a high GPA? I study in Italy so I am not really familiar with the grading system in the United States. Thank you again and have a good day!

@@user-up2ov2gf2p I do not. Sometimes certain programs have a formula you can folllow that will provide you with a US gpa.

    Hi Ivan
Hope you’re well . Your content is excellent !!!!! Do you know anything about the Harvard school of Bok? I’m thinking about getting a certificate in higher ed through them… what are your thoughts ? Thx! 😊

What’s up man! I am not familiar with that school? My suggestion is to really think about why you are applying and how a certificate from there will help you advance in your career. At the end of the day what matters is what you learn and how you can use that leverage that opportunity.
