I’m pretty sure the race for the city isn’t going to be like Karak Eight Peaks. The Champions need to collect soulds which allows them to unlock portals which will lead them to the city. It won’t matter how close they are on the map because they need to unlock the portals which will eventually allow them access. That said, I think Valkia is going to start near Dark Elves.
Great vid mate, love the little lore catchups for new Lords. Could you make your cursor more obvious on the map screens though I lose track of where you're talking about. Cheers man have a good one
Valkia will be probably in the ironfrost glacier next to malekith in immortal empire, and Vilitch will be probably in the crystal spire. but you're probably right into the zanbajin race.
I can see Valkia being in the Road of Skulls in IE actualy. I think all of the CoC lords will be around the Old World (most of them are Norscan or Empireal in origin). Maybe Wilitch will start near the Great Bastion but the others will for sure start in the Old World. I think CA plans the Monogod lords DLC to be more global...
Aye. In the last video I was just sort of half listening and playing WH2 when suddenly I heard a very smooth "of cock" in my ear xD Had me hella confused for a moment
Pretty sure Valkia will be near Altar of ultimate darkness. Zen baijin might not work like Karak8peak, in the RoC campaign, you need to build a portal to get there
The race for Zanbaijin surely isn't going to be in Immortal Empires though so I don't really see distance to K'datha being relevant here. Villitch in the Eastern Steppes makes sense just because Cathay still need an enemy on the other side of the Great Bastion, but I'd be surprised if Valkia doesn't start in northern Naggaroth
I understand it has a lore link to this location but doesn't make sense with the Lore at the time he wouldn't be there and only really having Kazrak nearby as an ally with enemies all around means he could end up dead really early on especially since the Beastmen as an AI do nothing of worth. And even if he can survive past say turn 20 he has the wombo combo of Vlad and Isabella coming after the Empire and maybe an Azhag fuelled Waaagh.
I know the map looks empty where they are going to put int he Chaos Dwarves, but do we have any suspicious why Southern Lustria is also so comparatively barren? I don't mind it, but also it looks like room has been made for something.
She and all of Kislev will be the first to fall in most IE campaigns…. Like you stated; she is surrounded and will have an uphill fight from the get go. If she is not able to make alliances, her queendom will fall and open up the Empire as the next stepping stone into the Old World.
I was under the impression that the race is a Realms of Chaos campaign thing? Like the DLC campaigns in Mortal Empires were. As far as I'm aware the 4 Champions will be following the same recipe of Short/Long/Endgame campaign goal system that was mentioned in the Q&A video where the factions were leaked in. Not that I'm especially against them having access to it in the Immortal Empires, but one of the two campaigns is just flat out going to be inferior if they have exactly the same objective.
Engra deathsword dead ? As I remember he was MIA or "nowhere to be found", regardless even "death" is no problem for chaos gods to "fix" that particular obstacle.
Weird that Boris and red duke aren’t on the map. I know they aren’t playable, but still weird they didn’t get placed. I guess CA just didn’t want to draw attention to it.
I wonder how seriously we are to take CA's trailer: No! I am not interested in equipment. I am not interested in the ancient dead. I am not interested in tech. I am not interested in the battlements. I am not interested in powerful relics! I am interested in _life!_ Will he seek, through vassals, to cultivate a zoo to grandfather's garden?

Also that mechanic is very likely reserved for the RoC campaign, so looking at the IE map is probably redundant
@@yawningfirefly5904 good point.
I heard a good argument for Valkia starting north of Naggaroth. She's been mentioned in that area a couple of times in older lore.
I remember that everchosen summon her there when he was on his rampage there.
Could be wrong but it is one of the only places she shows up aside from when she is still alive

Man I really want them to buff and rework clan pestilens.. Al the nurgle stuff makes me jelly
Are you going to take every opportunity to call it Coc? I love the change of tone you take on when you say it haha.
This guy likes the coc

upon first reading I thought the lords name was Festivus - like Festivus for the rest of us from Seinfeld lmao
So so so excited for Festus!!!!!! NURGLE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!
I love how art imitates life with some of these characters.
The road of skulls for Valkia with the dark elves

Thanks for the video

Comment for the channel engagement. U welcome buddy
Valkia's start in IE is almost certainly going to be North of Grombrindal in Naggarond, in RoC she will be somewhere near the darklands probably
Healing and poisoning is on the character in Game. It was mentioned in the blog Post Yesterday.

Obviously they're gearing up for the release of the best faction: Amazons. It's written in stone tablets in Mayan. The stars are aligning!
The Tzarina is gonna be a hard campaign, she is surrounded by chaos, greenskins, skaven, norsca. Challenging
Welcome to Kislev

Who are all the other slanessh and nurgle champions that could have been chosen

So you can recruit demon and warrior of chaos units too?
pretty sure the race for the lost city wont happen on the imortal empires map, only the on the main campaing map
Fuck I keep forgetting that. Dammit. Thanks man
Engra deathsword dead ? As I remember he was MIA or "nowhere to be found", regardless even "death" is no problem for chaos gods to "fix" that particular obstacle.
Coc is looking pimptacular!
So you dont think any chaos lords from this dlc wont be placed in the southern chaos wastes? So we will just have generic chaos factions down there?
Weird that Boris and red duke aren’t on the map. I know they aren’t playable, but still weird they didn’t get placed. I guess CA just didn’t want to draw attention to it.
woah
remember fellow sigmarites, the chaos fans are excited for coc, dont give in for the tentation of coc.
Theeeere it is! My go-to guy for lore on this weird universe that CA forces me to play.. ;)
Jk
Look at you playing all coy. It MIGHT be Vilitch and Valkia. 😉😉😉
I wonder how seriously we are to take CA's trailer:

Will he seek, through vassals, to cultivate a zoo to grandfather's garden?
Just wish they would stop the mega slow drip of information and just get on with telling people
