I feel like Sony really screwed us over with this one light they can’t make anything look great and yet people wanna act like it’s all marvel’s fault like you get what I’m saying what I’m trying to point out
We should have had Knull as a constant throughline for the trilogy instead of telling an audience that THIS is the finale, and THIS is the villain only to do nothing with him but tease more stuff. How am I supposed to be excited for him in the future when you call this the ending? Sure, we will probably get Eddie back someday but it's just a poor way to finalize a trilogy. Take this movie's end credit scene and just put it in Venom 1. Have him pull the strings with the Carnage storyline. Maybe even have Venom team up with the other Symbiotes during Venom 3 against what fans would assume is Knull only for him to tell us he isn't finished. I think the Spiderman tease from Venom 2 should have happened here for the potential cross over in Secret Wars.
I haven't seen the movie, but Eddie being hunted for Mulligan's "death" was probably an intentional frame job by the government bad guys in order to be able to hunt him down. Very illogical choice, since if he's not running then you would know exactly where to find him, but that's what I'm guessing.
I have a theory I haven't seen anyone else share about why the family was in the movie at all. I believe they were going to be used as the hosts, at least temporarily, for the Life Foundation Symbiotes in the climax. Maybe the dad as Lasher, the mom as Scream, the girl as Agony and the kid as Phage? Something like that but then, instead of cutting their parts out they just... cut out the storyline that led to them becoming the hosts? That's just my theory but the whole story seems like it got re-written a hundred times in general. Awful awful stuff lol. At least it's fun to watch a train wreck sometimes.
So this is where Otto was going in that cage cart. Wait until you see venom four budget. They might be able to make Venom vs Madame Web we all been waiting for.
It was kooky, weird, disjoint, but also worth seeing just to finish if you saw the first 2. Also they did leave something open with the after credit scenes.
I wish Sony would just stop with making Spider-Man related movies. I couldn't stand any of the Venom movies. The first one was bad. The second one was worse. I don't know why I watched either. I will not watch the 3rd one because I know it will also be garbage and I don't need to see them fumble so badly with great source material. And to really alienate myself, I was never a fan of the OG Rami Spider-Man movies. The first two are _watchable_ and are not garbage just not good, but that third one was worthless. And Marvel movies can be criticized but they tend to have a good baseline of quality and I have rather enjoyed their stuff. Though admittedly I've mostly tuned out in the last two years. I do feel that the overall plummet of quality when it comes to movies has gotten a lot of people to be super okay with worthless movies that are wastes of our time. Even the _good_ Marvel movies are just [content] with almost not substance or artistic value. What's the take away from Iron Man? Being an arms-dealer is bad, I guess? Being a billionaire is good because billionaires are better than the rest of us?
AVI ARAD has ruined so far... * Borderlands * Venom: The Last Dance * Daredevil (2003) * The Punisher (2004) * Elektra (2005) * Fantastic Four (2005) * X-Men: The Last Stand * Spider-Man 3 * Bratz (2007) * Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance * The Amazing Spider-Man 2 * Ghost in the Shell (2017) * Venom: Let There Be Carnage * Uncharted (2022) * Morbius And now he's gonna ruin... * Kraven the Hunter * Legend of Zelda * Naruto As long as Arad lives, there's no hope
I noticed that if you look up art of Lasher almost every version, including their premiere, depicts them as green with white eyes and black highlights. But, there seems to have been one storyline where the artist depicted Lasher with red highlights instead and, wouldn't you know it? Those green and res images almost always come up on Google searches. So, I'm pretty sure the lame xmas tree bit they worked in was intended to be foreshadowing for Lasher as a character, who they did a quick Google search for, even though I'm guessing almost no one knows them as "the green and red symbiote" lol. Lasher is just "the lanky green one" as far as anyone who's read the og Life Foundation story would attest. Also. When and where did Agony ever have lightning powers? WTF were they doing lol??
This is a bad case of an actor having too much input on the project. It worked with Deadpool, but not this. The animated and video game projects for Spider-Man related properties are much better than the live action.
This movie make money and is not held to same standards mcu is held to always wonder why. I like the first one mostly but I would not watch it as must as I watch mcu movies.
I'm a 90's comic fan myself, and for me the most consistent and with its events. It wasn't perfect, but for me late 80's through the 90's to very early 00 was probably the best. I really like the Xenophage, but other then being an apex predator of the symbiotes, there is nothing. It only appeared in that one run, and its a shame they weren't further explored. But I will say that the ones in Last Dance (which haven't seen the film) look 100x better then the one in the comic. I'm not a fan of them making it only able to see the Codex, and are basically dogs. But the powers they gave it was awesome. I just wish they kept that their smart, their original powers too. Like shapeshifting, symbiote detecting, and its fiery neurotoxin that paralyzes symbiotes and "enhanced their flavor." lol
the Xenophage is by far the best part of the film. The filmmakers did a good job of making it genuinely creepy and menacing. However, much like it's comic book counterpart , it doesn't do a lot of anything 🤷♂
@@UptownDuck000 I can't speak on the films version, but the comics one was awesome. The whole idea of the Symbiotes, with as powerful as they are and can become. That they prey on planets by bonding to the host, and using them up till there is nothing left before moving on. That out there, there is a species that evolved to be their natural (maybe made, but hope not) predators. Its kina like Crocodiles, Killer Whale or even the Humans that have no natural predators. You wouldn't think the Symbiotes would have one.
The trilogy is complete. How are you feeling? Do you think we'll see Venom or any of the other symbiotes from this universe ever again?
I feel like Sony really screwed us over with this one light they can’t make anything look great and yet people wanna act like it’s all marvel’s fault like you get what I’m saying what I’m trying to point out
They need to just give the Spider-Man rights back to Marvel: those Venom movies are absolute garbage
It's almost like none of these movies should have been made in the first place and most of the fans knew this from the beginning.... 🤦♂
Sony needs an intervention
With this movie making over 400 million dollars at the box office I doubt this will be the last venom movie, The Last Dance my ass 😂😂😂
I saw the first one and don't remember it. I don't need to see more. I just don't care about Venom without Spider-Man.
We should have had Knull as a constant throughline for the trilogy instead of telling an audience that THIS is the finale, and THIS is the villain only to do nothing with him but tease more stuff. I enjoyed eddie and venom's adventure in escaping the military and the xenophage through out the movie
The idea that they can keep making Spiderman movies with no connection to Spiderman was always a fail

I disagree. Thought it eas pretty good got teary eyed at the end.
When I saw the trailers I already made the decision to wait till streaming!

I enjoy the Venom movies

Honestly, I did enjoy it, in a MST3000 kinda way. Also, I did tear up when Venom died.

knull was a very unsatisfactory villain in the comics to
I liked it. Not great, but entertaining.

It was a bad movie but I still loved it, tbh.
I didn't like the first two and this sounds like an absolute mess. I was a huge Venom fan growing up but I'm more of a Agent Venom fan these days.
This movie make money and is not held to same standards mcu is held to always wonder why. I like the first one mostly but I would not watch it as must as I watch mcu movies.
This film was trash....I don't care if the audience score is 80%......this film was garbage!!!
