This song fits, but if we look how really is in the show, Simon never actually felt comfortable with Marcus and Marcus is not the "good boy" in the song. Simon and Wilhelm, both, feels save and comfortable with each other and are giving the vibes of the verses. It's the world who put the chords into their relationship. I hope that makes sense.
yeah, i definitely get what you’re saying & i also don’t think that marcus is the “perfect match” for the lyrics in the verses, but in the context of the video i wanted to showcase that just because it’s easy, it doesn’t mean that it’s good or real and vice versa. i 100% agree, that simon didn’t feel comfortable with marcus in that sense, but i do think that the relationship was a comfortable choice for him, one because he was trying not to think about wilhelm and two, because his relationship with wilhelm IS complicated given the circumstances and all that has happened. and while it might not directly be their fault, but rather the fault of their surroundings and again circumstances, that doesn’t really matter in the end since they can’t just erase those and they always will have an impact on their relationship or any relationship really. in the end i think this is “just” an edit, so i of course made the scenes somewhat fit the lyrics, so it’s probably not that deep, but i appreciate your comment. :)

But that dosen't mean it's not worth it and it's so much more compared to the "save" relationship with Marcus. But at the end of the day it's just an edit haha
