- A drive starting at the north-end of Toronto at Steeles Avenue and heading south into downtown. The original plan was to finish at the lake but due to an accident at Yonge & Richmond I didn't quite make it all the way.
Recorded in 4K at 60 FPS with a DJI Pocket 2 on Boxing Day which was December 26, 2021.

Correction to the video, at the start I mentioned it was Saturday when it was Sunday, oops.
Road was probably closed due to a crash at Yonge and Richmond, someone managed to be speeding fast enough to flip their car and hit some pedestrians
Hey thanks for this one Johnny. This sure brought back memories. Back in the 80's I used to drive the Yonge bus from Eglinton to Steeles and also the Yonge Night bus from Steeles to front. Better times for sure. Take care my traveling friend.
I'm living in Taiwan for 15 years now.
Thanks for posting this. I love your videos as I’m a frequent visitor to Toronto and it helps with the “homesickness”. Really saddened to hear about the incident at Yonge and Richmond. Hoping those injured recover soon.
Beautiful video, can't wait to get back to Toronto.
Been really enjoying your work with these videos. I moved out of Toronto two years ago and makes coping with how much I miss walking around easier. Thank you for doing these.
I always enjoy your walks down Yonge Street !
do a walking video down yonge street from the north end to midtown
Thanks Johnny for the lovely ride going down Young street I heard that was a bad accident and sadly people got hurt. Great filming and Narration as always😊

I used to eat at sushi supreme on young north of Davisville Station.
traffic was dead Sunday morning. Drove in from Mississauga (Hurontario/QEW) and got to Gardiner & Spadina offramp in 17 minutes
Thanks Johnny
Helloo goodnight Johnny Strides...how's r u buddy@ hoped all is going pretty wild, safe proactiv and blessed with you etc...I kow this drivestream was over the boxing day holidays almost now too long ago as time go fast but was really nicee and incredible wen u started at northern Toronto border point"steeles wst" down on a gloomy not soo chilly yonge to a closed off yonge/queen, but other than that thumbs up as usual! cheers
Dear Mr. Johnny Strides.... Once again what we have is an astonishing vlog... Johnny is Toronto's Vlogger.... Once upon a ride, Johnny decided to pick up a friend, Ken.... Ken is the guy who is behind Thekencontinuum... Together they raced around the city streets of Toronto... Honking a horn here and there.... Exchanging middle-fingers to people who really deserve it... Avoiding crashing into slow-moving little old ladies....And simultaneously being pursued by Giant Evil-Pigeons.... But our two heroes evaded a whole nest of pigeons... And the crowd of onlookers cheered them on.... Two friends out for a ride.... Woooohooooo!.... Alright!..... the end.... Always in Good Taste... .CHEERS.... Be Supportive and Subscribe.... And check out the Johnny Swag and Johnny Stumbles.....
You should do a driving video on Bloor Street-Danforth Avenue corridor Johnny.
Asphalt Planet is another great GTA driving youtuber.
Haven't listen to you for a long time

Did Boxing Day fall on a Saturday in your neck of the woods? You said it in your other video too.
Up here in Orillia, the 26th was on Sunday. 🙃
lol I got my dates mixed up.
i notice your dash cam not plugged in how long does it record before it shuts off ?
Nice vid JS. I have a question : what camera did you use for driving-recording, gadgests and how you set it up in the car. Thanks in advace for your reply 😀
Very nice when stream and drive, but when you walk or bike it’s more type cloose to reality so to speak😃! TC!😃
$500 for 3 days with the car... wow so ridiculous, might be alot cheaper if you rented a moving truck.
Canada seems to have terrible road
Saturday, December 26th?
Meh, mistakes happen.
54:20 - while negligent police are victim blaming pedestrians being scrapped off the sidewalk a mere block away, the Jeep driver deciding to drive down a one-way contraflow ENRAGED ME.
It was certainly appalling...
