Probably got it working by now, but if not, try going into your browser settings (I use google chrome) privacy & security>site settings>microphone inside that box, click on your microphone (I use a blue snowball) It was trying to use my microphone settings with voicemeeter. Just change it to your base microphone. I restarted my computer (probably don't need to) and it works now.
