When Dvořák composed his 7th Symphony in 1885, he was influenced by Brahms’s 3rd Symphony. Brahms had played the first and fourth movements for Dvořák on the piano during a visit to Vienna in 1883. Dvořák’s demands on himself were correspondingly high, as is evidenced by his words to his publisher Fritz Simrock: “The new symphony has been occupying me for a long, long time, but something decent should come out of it, because I want Brahms’s words to me ‘I still think of your symphony as being quite different from this (6th Symphony),’ to be true.” Dvořák composed his symphony, however, for the London Philharmonic Society, where he conducted its successful premiere on April 22, 1885.
Dvořák meets the high compositional demands by working the entire symphony very densely, the musical events follow one another in rapid succession and the musical flow hardly comes to a standstill until the end. The basic mood is somber and dramatic until the very end, with brief lighter moments. The opening themes in the first and fourth movements are multi-layered and resist easy comprehension at first hearing. This is left to the second themes in both movements, which betray the most Brahmsian influence.
The Tutzing Brahmstage is a small but elegant classical music festival. In 2022, it celebrated a double anniversary. The concert series was held for the 25th time and at the same time, it was the 125th anniversary of the death of the famous German composer. The Brahmstage festival takes place every year in Tutzing on Lake Starnberg in Upper Bavaria - the place where Brahms spent a summer composing important works in 1873. On four Sundays in October 2022, Brahms' four great symphonies were performed together with one symphony each by Antonin Dvořák - the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th - in the Church of St. Joseph.
As one of Munich's great symphony orchestras, the Münchner Symphoniker has been an integral part of the German musical landscape for over 75 years. They perform around 100 concerts a year in concert series in Bavaria, with guest appearances and tours in Germany and abroad. The orchestra with musicians from 17 different nations presents varied programs on large concert and open-air stages as well as in its own rehearsal hall at the Bavaria Studios.
Alondra de la Parra's interview partners are Zurab Gvantseladze, principal oboe, Jakob Haas, violoncello, and musicologist Stephan Beck.

In June 2022 they advertised an seminar by english guy in the chateu museum in village of Vysoka where Dvorak spent 5 months each year during summer, and they wrote to description that Dvorak wrote 7th symphony and some other pieces for England.
