I've bought 2 bundles and I cannot express how greatly I appreciate these. For one, your style of succinct easy to run adventures for GM's is incredible. Every piece of information I need is listed here, and its seriously made me rethink prep for other adventures. Second, I love horror themed adventures and each of your adventures fits into a niche genre of horror, which is great. I have run this adventure(possibly my favorite) and a few others and they are all great. I am patiently awaiting the release of more!
Downloaded both bundles a couple weeks back. Both are great for short, original and creepy game sessions. Well worth the price tag of $10 for each bundle! Oh by the way, these can easily be dropped into Ravenloft or any other campaign setting.
Interesting! I can see this actually running as two or three sessions, depending on how much interaction he PCs have with the npcs along the way. I love the idea of "springing" it on them when they think they're just stopping off for a night's rest....
we've just played through the adventure, and it was awesome! One thing I had to change is - the secret door was not closed, because how else would Nell's parents get into the caves? They wouldn't seal the door behind them :) My Cecil also spent some time in his own room before going to the bar and "clean and close the inn", so he actually didn't see anyone going downstairs. There is also a question of how Nell's parents got through the trap door without breaking the lock. I also had to ensure my players that skeletons were not the Scions, because there's also 5 of them. But it was really fun to play this through, the last fight was very challenging!
I'm so glad you liked it! :D I totally left that locked door in there by accident from an earlier draft, but the most recent version out around November of last year should have that fixed. 👍And I'm glad the players got spooked by those 5 skeletons, hahahahaa! They were the poor commoners who were each going to be one of the five scion's living sacrifices for their rituals!

@@Nyliss I think I left it implied but unmentioned in the adventure text, so it's totally up for interpretation! Would be fun to have those skeletons also be some form of "beta" scions, too, like poor souls they experimented on to make sure they were getting the ritual right. In either case, I hope they lead to some additional spookiness! And hit me up at kelsey@thearcanelibrary.com if you need an updated download with the lock correction. That was a pretty crazy goof on my end to get all the way to the final draft!
Just bought the terror bundle v2, i convinced one friend into dnd and needed a pre-made one shot with maps (im lazy to write my own one and also bad at it lol)
Going run this one next week! Quick question: why does the ghost suddenly start possessing people in the hotel tonight? Is it because the vampire hunters broke the lock and entered the basement?
Hey there! Eliza wants to possess Nell, and when people start hindering her from doing that, it turns into a war of escalation. That's why she possesses Cecil -- to remove the PCs from interfering with her plans. I hope that makes sense!
I have two PC characters and I'm thinking of adding a side kick to make the party a total of 3. What level should the characters be to play this one shot?
Hi Daniel! This is a level 6 one-shot, and usually you’d want at least 4 characters to run it. If you’re going in with fewer than that, I’d say the party needs an additional level per each missing member below 4. So, for example, with this level 6 one, if you only have three players, you’d want them to be level 7.
This is the first session I'm using in my portal jumping campaign. The party will have just portal jumped into Barovia and been caught up in the "March of the Dead". Sanity checks ahoy.... then this module kicks off as they take shelter from the parade of ghosts.

Also, talk about bang for your buck, the digital maps are perfect, the multiple versions of the adventures, there is so much here!
