You got into some AMAZING schools (no duh Sherlock), and I’m guessing you’re Canadian, because you applied to Canadian schools also, and I’m Canadian too! You inspire me and give me hope that one day (I’m in eighth grade), I can get into these schools too!!!

@@JenniferWang61 for sure, just thought i should let you know since you mentioned you are international and international students get ZERO federal aid so the inly way of lowering that enormous cost would be scholarships
@@34bean65 Maybe it’s because of Covid, but my professors haven’t been really that great here so as much as I love it here, I can’t confidently say that my quality of education has exactly gone up from my days at community college. If one thing it might have gone down. Ultimately, I think the UCs are great but overrated, which is unfortunate because it gives them a reason to set their prices so dang high. If you’re an international ir out if state student, like she is, either don’t go or go to a California community college for a year or two to gain California residency to bring the price way down. My best friend actually went to Berkley, she worked her butt off while going there tho so I would say that’s the main con there but she got a great education and became really successful. So overall, weigh out price and reward before deciding to go to wherever let alone a UC. Hope this helps
