As someone who has lived in China, all I can say is, "Ha ha ha! No." China is a big country. In the regions that like their spices, even the "non-spicy" foods are hot enough to melt your mouth. Szechuan peppers? Those are named for the Sichuan province in China. Most of the "Chinese" food we see abroad is just Hong Kong food. China has a VAST number of local dishes, and it's a shame that the rest of the world hasn't tried them.

It's funny seeing the difference in spice tolerance among the people. Mehboob says how the 2x spicy noodles barely even touch 1% the spiciness of his fried peppers, meanwhile Naseeba says not even fried spices are as spicy as these.
I had the 2x spicy noodles the other night, the 1st fork-full is hot but fine. But after about a 3rd of the bowl I had to stop, my mouth was on fire 🔥 they really seem to get hotter the more you eat. I think if he had continued eating them he would have changed his mind !

Instant Korean noodle or more commonly known as Buldak ramen 불닭볶음면. Definitely it would be fun showing them the youtube challenges and explain how it’s kind of a dare to see if you can handle Korean spicy food. Even though I’m Korean, I’m actually not the best with spicy food, and far less skilled compared to most Koreans. I think it just depends which part of Korea you’re from. If you go more south, they have a much higher tolerance level than those who are from Seoul (generations grew up in Seoul). I hope you introduce more Korean dishes to them like kimchi and bibimbap. And I feel like they really like meat, so definitely they should try 불닭 고기 (spicy grilled chicken meat) which is a really popular dish for Korean college students and what the ramen noodles is based off of. Koreans have many different instant noodle flavors probably like 10 or 20 different flavors, basically it would be a whole grocery aisle just of different Korean instant noodles. Koreans definitely love their instant noodles mostly because it’s really fast and easy to prepare so you can eat it whenever even if you’re really busy with work or school. I would liken it to how American New Yorkers often eat hot dogs, not that it’s the only food New Yorkers like, but mainly since it’s fast and easy to get when you’re busy and it still tastes pretty good.
I’m Korean American and I still eat that shit, it’s pretty spicy at first, but not as much now. Probably because my grandpa grew up in 부산시(Busan for those who don’t read Korean) and we usually have spicy food at my grandma’s place just because my grandpa grew up like that

Instant Korean noodle or more commonly known as Buldak ramen 불닭볶음면. Definitely it would be fun showing them the youtube challenges and explain how it’s kind of a dare to see if you can handle Korean spicy food. Even though I’m Korean, I’m actually not the best with spicy food, and far less skilled compared to most Koreans. I think it just depends which part of Korea you’re from. If you go more south, they have a much higher tolerance level than those who are from Seoul (generations grew up in Seoul). I hope you introduce more Korean dishes to them like kimchi and bibimbap. And I feel like they really like meat, so definitely they should try 불닭 고기 (spicy grilled chicken meat) which is a really popular dish for Korean college students and what the ramen noodles is based off of. Koreans have many different instant noodle flavors probably like 10 or 20 different flavors, basically it would be a whole grocery aisle just of different Korean instant noodles. Koreans definitely love their instant noodles mostly because it’s really fast and easy to prepare so you can eat it whenever even if you’re really busy with work or school. I would liken it to how American New Yorkers often eat hot dogs, not that it’s the only food New Yorkers like, but mainly since it’s fast and easy to get when you’re busy and it still tastes pretty good.

I’m Korean American and I still eat that shit, it’s pretty spicy at first, but not as much now. Probably because my grandpa grew up in 부산시(Busan for those who don’t read Korean) and we usually have spicy food at my grandma’s place just because my grandpa grew up like that
If you haven't already contemplated this, please consider: When serving a dish that is spicy or extremely spicy bring a glass of milk or a small dessert dish of vanilla ice cream. It neutralizes the "heat" immediately. Feel free to test it yourself. You will be amazed at how quickly it works!
