I love when people point this out. Most people never even think about it, but it's true, tableware totally changes the taste of the food. It feels more natural to use hands to eat, and more connected to the act of eating.
And its true. Ure hands have pheromones and when you touch your food and take it to your mouth the pheromones release into the food. Also thers no way you can completely clean off your plate with cutlery. We need fingers to polish off the plate. And both eating with hands and finihing every morsel on the plate is a sunnah for us Muslims. 🙂

I figured Pakistan and India would have similar foods, I'd like them to bring recipes from their villages and explain what they are and why they like them
That’s why this is a bit ridiculous. Many of these tribal people are from cultures that were in “India” prior to the partition of India in 1947. In fact I am pretty sure that most of the women are Sindhi Hindus for some reason. Most of the men appear to be from Balochistan, and i suppose their food is a tad different than the majority of Pakistanis who eat North Indian food but not to any great extent. I am Pakistani from Punjab and I don’t agree with labelling any traditional North Indian food, especially staples, as “pakistani” food. It’s best described as “North Indian” food.
@@sarimtariq2700 Punjabi + Seraiki + Hindko/Potohari/Pahari + Sindhi + Urdu (Muhajir) are majority of Pakistan’s population (over 70%) and they mainly eat North Indian food. While baloch, Brahui, Pashtun, and Dardic people’s food is a bit different, it’s not considerably so where the “North Indian” food would be considerably different. And given that this is being filmed in Karachi with nearly all of the women being from native Hindu Sindhi communities, they are all familiar with the foods of the majority of Pakistan, which are basically the same cuisine as northern India.
@Solmaz Dar it’s not “unfortunate” - the majority of Pakistan is Punjabi, Sindhi, and Muhajir. I am from Potohari dialect speaking family - our staples of roti, dal, saag, qeema, kebabs are also commonly found in North Indian cuisine. The more Iranian influenced Pashto and Balochi food is not “very different” since North Indian food itself was influenced by these Iranian-influenced cuisines under Muslim/Mughal rule. Something “very different” to North Indian cuisine would be Japanese or German cuisine, not a cuisines that are right next door and subject to the same historical influences. Give me a break on the b.s.
My mother told me that they let the calf drink the amount it needs and as it is thicker and yellow they can't sell it so they steam the leftover and it kind of becomes like custard or jelly, and she misses it ,I've wanted to taste it since then.

I figured Pakistan and India would have similar foods,
I'd like them to bring recipes from their villages and explain what they are and why they like them
That’s why this is a bit ridiculous.
They should have shared dosa, idli, that's not common there.

Similar in small Mexican towns, they take the cow colostrum and cook with sugar and cinnamon.
