It seems like a waste of the view to have the theater room in a space where the curtains will be closed most of the time BUT I agree with you 100% that you should make the space function exactly as you want it to. You and Matt have worked hard so designing your home to fit your needs and wants makes so much sense. I'm happy to hear that you came up with a solution for the fireplace that you are happy with. I'm loving these weekly updates and seeing your home take shape step by step.

Im having trouble visualizing the morning room. What are the dimensions? given how much clearance would be needed behind each chair, it seems like you'll either only easily fit a small round table or you'll need to use benches lining either side. (That said, ive never built a home, so im sure its different once walls are up!)
The walls definitely have to be up. Based on measurements I can definitely handle a 60 inch round table and/or go back to my 72 inch rectangle table I had before.

Super excited! The fireplace height will not change but we came to a mutual understanding.
