I got a still pic and less than 2 minutes of the opening of their show last year, after that it was just trying to keep enough energy to stay on my feet in the pit, not easy when the venue is a ski slope and your up on the hill lol, people need to remember what it's like to experience the show not just record it

These concerts (like Rock am Ring and Wacken) are so packed as a lot of people are coming over from other countries, and not only the European ones. If you look closely to the concert of Nightwish in Brazil and Wacken, you'll see one or two girls that are on the front row of both concerts, That is quiet a travel.
One of the craziest and most epically awesome bands that I've ever been blessed to see live, with Slayer no less, back in the day on the Unholy Alliance tour...Maggot for life
Rock am Ring is located at the famous race track "Nürburgring". It's in the middle of nowhere in an area called "Eifel". Eifel weather is something special. You can have 30 degrees celicius during day and minus degrees at night. I remember one year where it was snowing a little bit, just a little bit but snow in June isn't normal.

Its not metal, but if you want to see a crazy concert check out Max Korzh moscow concert. They had 35k people packed into a stadium and pretty much shut down the city
60,000 people attended 09 rock am ring officially. So there's probably more than that in the crowd since they were the headliners. PS: I was there. And didn't pee once. It was awful

corey really knows how to get the audience riled up, the way he talks to them and understands them is incredible.
hands-down the best live band i’ve ever seen. the energy was unbelievable, and it was just like a giant, crazy family reunion.
