I wish I had put him on a bigger base to be honest. Sadly, he no longer has any rules in the game (unless you just run him as a standard Sergeant ofc), so putting him on a more 'display orientated base' would of been better. He can easily be removed though, so you never know. Thank you for the kind words.

Really nice! The Legion of the Damned are what sold me on 40k way back in the day. I just knew I had to paint up some ghostly, burning skeletal marines. Also if you're feeling apprehension about using greenstuff, please allow me to share the best advice I've received in that regard; "It's just pushing putty around."
The real nightmare for me of greenstuff comes from trying to file it down, say if you make an area too thick or the wrong shape. Truely it is a nightmare. But I've heard that the GreenStuff + Milliput (or Grilliput) somewhat negates this issue, so I'm gunna have to try it!
Sculpting with GS seems daunting at 1st but it then becomes a challenge and with water or vaseline it becomes achievable. In the end, everything looks really good.
I've found mixing it with miliput, water and alcohol and sculpting with alcohol and water instead of vaseline a really pleasurable experience. Vaseline is messy.
I remember seeing the original Centurius model for the first time. It was after it had gone OOP. I remember how badly I wanted one, and I never managed to find one before leaving the hobby in the early 2000s. This conversion is so amazing - it makes me want to build one just like it. It's been a while since I've come across a conversion of a character I'm not familiar with. Great kitbash as always and if you want to really challenge yourself with an obscure and weird character you should look up Jubal Khan the chapter master of the White Scars.
He was the first model to ever use the Mortal Wounds rule. Jubal Khan has been suggested already and as a fan of the White Scars, I am excited to try, I also want to make sure I do it right. Thank you for the kind words.

I have a good amount of 30K characters on my list. I am currently debating streaming 30K kitbashes, whether that be turning them in to 40k models, reimagined or new 30k ones. TLDR, yes I have, haha. It's a very cool and interesting concept.

I struggle to keep in mind that the mini on display is a 30mm gaming piece rather than a 72mm display piece. The paintwork is soooooo fine.

It's from the standard Intercessor kit, i cut the nose off and resultped it with a little bit of greenstuff. Hope that helps.

Have you thought about making 30k marines in 40k?
I have a good amount of 30K characters on my list. I am currently debating streaming 30K kitbashes, whether that be turning them in to 40k models, reimagined or new 30k ones. TLDR, yes I have, haha. It's a very cool and interesting concept.

I order a few preowned models to try myself I just finished a primaris Cato and am just waiting for primaris mephiston to show up to try astarath
