Fixing engine compartment temperature sensor issue on 911 997

    Thank you for your video. I’ve had this issue for the last 2
    months and I could not figure what was causing the problem. Just saw your video
    this morning, went out to my car, and sure enough the sensor was right on top
    of the header. Grateful for the Porsche community!

    This is what mines doing but honestly your explanations, stopping, starting, rephrasing your instructions made me very irritated. I would have a hand written speech for the viewers and just read it and also not show a still photo of the engine while you talk. That doesn’t help the viewers any.

      Thanks for your comment. Made my morning. ;). Bottomline is if this is happening to you then the possible fix is to secure the engine compartment temperature sensor so it’s not dangling into engine and touching anything that causes it to get an incorrect reading.
