For those wondering why Leedsichthys is so docile (rafts notwithstanding, I haven't the damndest why that is), it's a similar reason those like the Whale and Basking Sharks don't attack people at all. They were a Jurassic species that could potentially hang around in small pods like whales. Although they didn't usually have natural predators when fully grown, they were still big targets when they were young or too old such as marine crocodiles, pliosaurs and prehistoric sharks. Galakrond got so big his appetite outpaced his ability to find and kill things to eat, so he just ate his own kind, spat them up as undead monstrosities, then _ATE THEM AGAIN._ He grew extra eyes, arms, etc and it took a Titan Keeper and four other halfway-smart proto-drakes to kill him. His bones still lay where he fell, and even giant flesh constructs are the size of cats compared to him. -Grond was a literal animated mountain, forged to destroy a group of massive walking(?) plant monsters that were endangering life by consuming all of it. He managed to destroy 4/5, but the last one ran its vines through the cracks in his body and brutally ripped him to collapsing pieces. From his ruin came the colossals (so big the Thunderlord base the majority of their _CLAN_ in one), the magnaron, the gronn, the ogron, the ogres, and finally the orcs. Not sure why they got all fleshy, but hey, what's a few milennia of degeneration vs being cursed to become mortal and susceptible to the whispers of trapped, hungering gods? tl;dr? My question with potential answers is this: What if the Lost Leviathan was the primogenitor of the leviathan breed? What if it was, in fact, a leviathan so large, it fell prey to what it hunted? What if it was _both_ somehow?

The Lost Leviathan's not alive, it can't hurt me. The Ghosts are relatively harmless, I've found, and the Dragon is prevalent for a short time. I think my personal favorite aquatic based creature from video games would go to the underhands from Super Paper Mario just because of how much they terrified me as a kid. The theme that plays when you're around them DEFINITELY doesn't help and I think that was one of the first times that I realised "damn, underwater creatures can be terrifying"
So, I don’t know how relevant this is or what you know about it, but a mod is being made to add the lost leviathan (known in the mod as the Gargantuan Leviathan) to subnautica. It’s actually rather close to completion now, with unique roars, a grab animation like the reaper, and it’s design faithfully reproduced in all its mile long glory.
I clicked this video knowing Subnautica had to make it. I started to become upset when i didn't see him yet. Then i realized, Fawful is cultured enough to put him on his deserved spot. I need to stop questioning you.
I'd actually buy a DLC for that if they made and released it. Expanding the map and adding a new creature?? Yes please. I think it'd be funny if it was actually peaceful towards the player character but like could devour a whole reefback right in front of you.
Okay Logan, you’ve got me suspicious now! Every time I’ve left for home from a specific destination for the past 3 years, you’ve uploaded something! Does this mean I have to go to this destination more often?
@@Bofrab Because he's Fawful's *Minion,* and Fawful *himself* is the self-proclaimed great one. He canonically refers to himself as "The Great Fawful". So Logan's saying it in reference to his username.
All I gotta say is the eel from Mario 64. That's still creepy and ptsd inducing to this day. I actually turned off my ds when I got there because I was so scared.
We just had to go deeper didn’t we... we couldn’t have just stayed on the land... no... the bottom of the sea wants us to know it. It wants to give us the biggest hugs. Hugs that will crush you to dust...
Not a lot of kids know what Clawitzer's name is a combination of. Its rather simple; Claw, which is obvious, but the other part is the other half of the word Howitzer, a well known European artillery cannon known for fucking shit up.
*remembers the underwater creatures within the Rayman legends game. They start out peaceful, but in the end, lure you to the sea dragons by the end of time attacks and the world itself* ...honestly, that deceptiveness was enough to steal my heart, and that's before they sing
Do inklings count as aquatic? Water kills them but they swim in other things and are still cephalopods. And no, I did not know they'd be on the list before hand, but hey I approve even if they're only half abiding the rules.
The most terrifying thing about the Lost Leviathan in my opinion? If that’s only a third of its full size, *WAS THERE SOMETHING EVEN BIGGER THAT TORE IT APART?!*
Two things: •1. Apparently, the Lost Leviathan starved time death. •2: it was possibly tore apart after death by a bunch of scavengers, like what happens to dead whales on the ocean floor.
My bloody my, hitting a topic that makes me go eeeee! In a good way. An area where our ancestors, the blobby cell and amoeba, appear. And a place where we know not much about cause space is infinite to the point where around 90% of our guesses are going to be correct. Edit: welp, my paleontologist within me at the Leedicthys is going off. Ahem, the proper pronunciation is "Leed-sik-thees"
Me: as a long term fan, I know the monster hunter 3 water monster is gonna be on here because of how much he talks about it. Me after watching the video: oh...I guess I’m wrong.
Not gonna lie I really enjoy aquatic enemies as some of them are unique, I also like how some are more than just let's say than a fish that shoots lasers or saws. Like Morpha was a fun boss, probably one of my favorite OoT bosses tied with Phantom Ganon. Bosses, enemies, or even hazards make them fun. One of my personal favorites have to be the Durandoos from Hollow Knight as they walk in acidic water. Like these guys look cool ( they look like this tall bug with multiple legs and 2 arms and a giant spiky shell ) and instead of fighting you platform on them. All water enemies are very cool to deal with as it's much better than op fish, or sharks. Like Morpha was creative, the subnautica creatures are really cool, and even octorocks from the Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild are fun.
Can we just appreciate Logan’s voice acting? Like, he REALLY puts his heart into it. Makes everything hit harder, and I love it.

Look at how it cleans this greasy dragon, Bang! Bang! Bang! Goodbye dirt! Grubby steel, Bang Bang Bang! I love you Shimp Gun!
Ecco: "eeh, it's ok"
choose your next words very carefully
This entire vid is just jotaro kujo’s dream
Good vid fawfuls minion
But what if the abyss, *is only the tip of the iceberg*
EYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!
When Fawful's Minion said that Anura is his favorite animal order, I was legit in pure bliss. Plus it makes me wanna see him doing a list of his top 10 favorite frogs in gaming. PATRONS MAKE IT HAPPEN 😆😂
Ah but can anyone top Frog from Chrono Trigger?
Seein the Umibozu from Nioh in the thumbnail made me happy for some reason
Oooh! Love the design on this Dolphin. 5:20
Fiery Joker did a similar topic to this a while back. Still love both of y'all.
He did water themed boss battles.
@@wolfhurricane897 Exactly. Joker did Top 10 Water Bois, and now Fawful did Top 10 Bois in Water.

I would love to see Logan’s reaction to the mod that actually revives the Lost Leviathan
This, This I like.
I clicked this video knowing Subnautica had to make it.
I started to become upset when i didn't see him yet.
Then i realized, Fawful is cultured enough to put him on his deserved spot.
I need to stop questioning you.
Minion's #10 reminds me of somethin'.
Anyone here seen The Water Horse?
Also, #3 might've just made Rabbid rather angery...
Fun fact: It was said that the gargantuan fossil, if living, would be several times the size of the map!
I'd actually buy a DLC for that if they made and released it. Expanding the map and adding a new creature?? Yes please. I think it'd be funny if it was actually peaceful towards the player character but like
could devour a whole reefback right in front of you.
Okay Logan, you’ve got me suspicious now! Every time I’ve left for home from a specific destination for the past 3 years, you’ve uploaded something! Does this mean I have to go to this destination more often?
No Parapu, but I’m glad something prehistoric got on the list.
Also, 20:23 EYYYYY!
I’m a simple man. When I see fawful’s minion upload, I clicks it.
8:17 The wheeze got me.
Where is the reaper Leviathan on this list.
They're roars are PTSD inducing
They’re sorta #1
@@cpower6543 No they're not. The Lost Leviathan is #1.
Yeah but they were mentioned in number one
Logan gave you something even worse, bruh.
You think the Reaper Leviathan could roar? Imagine the roar of the lost leviathan!
This video proved any Pokémon could be someone’s favourite. In this case, Clawitzer
Fun fact:
Someone actually recreated the Gargantuan/Lost Leviathan as a mod.
And uh...
... _NOPE._
As a wise man once said
"Fuck this shit I'm out"
I give this list a 7/10. Too much water.
“The not so great faufuls minion” huh, could’ve fooled me
I don’t know why he still says that.
@@Bofrab Because he's Fawful's *Minion,* and Fawful *himself* is the self-proclaimed great one. He canonically refers to himself as "The Great Fawful". So Logan's saying it in reference to his username.
@@FuryMcpurey oooooooooh, that’s pretty cool
I really like how none of the things in your thumbnail are on your list. Adds more fun to this.
I love the idea of this count down alone. As a person who is fascinated by nature and the creatures that rise from the depths of it.
0:47
Take me by the haaand!
Logan: *Talking about Morpha* Better than just throwing a big fish at us
Me: *Looks at Gyorg*
Here’s a hint for one choice, Logan loved project power
He included Seamen in his video. That alone is already worth a like.
Fawfuls Minion upload and weekly Takeaway? Lucky Me.
Not a lot of kids know what Clawitzer's name is a combination of. Its rather simple; Claw, which is obvious, but the other part is the other half of the word Howitzer, a well known European artillery cannon known for fucking shit up.
So... I didn't expect ANY of these entries. That's good. And now I shall reaffirm my respectful fear of the depths.
Wollywogs look like they’d be great in some meme templates
Mysterious Aliens and creepy aquatic creatures are my jam!
Imagine the Lost Leviathan coming in another possible DLC for Subnautica, or a sequel of Subnautica. That's where I would just go NOPE.
There's a mod for it in which iirc it's called the "Gargantuan Leviathan".
*remembers the underwater creatures within the Rayman legends game. They start out peaceful, but in the end, lure you to the sea dragons by the end of time attacks and the world itself*
...honestly, that deceptiveness was enough to steal my heart, and that's before they sing
Do inklings count as aquatic? Water kills them but they swim in other things and are still cephalopods.
And no, I did not know they'd be on the list before hand, but hey I approve even if they're only half abiding the rules.
@Dr. Crazystein ??????????? Splatoon has nothing to do with sticker star!
The most terrifying thing about the Lost Leviathan in my opinion?
If that’s only a third of its full size, *WAS THERE SOMETHING EVEN BIGGER THAT TORE IT APART?!*
Two things:
•1. Apparently, the Lost Leviathan starved time death.
•2: it was possibly tore apart after death by a bunch of scavengers, like what happens to dead whales on the ocean floor.
oh.
i'd prefer if there was some kind of terrifying thing bigger than it that tore it in two tbh but yeah that makes more sense
What a way to relax and laugh after a long day at work. Thanks Fawful's Minion
Fun fact the leedsicthys WAS A REAL FISH!! it loved during the jurassic period along with freaking dinosaurs!!!
I like how he still remembers fawful and uses him in his intros.
8:50 for a split second I thought you going to put in froggy from sonic adventure
Also what about Octodad?
I thought it was gonna be Frog/Glenn from Chrono Trigger.
I feel like how Logan feels about the sea and its creatures is how I feel about the sky and its potential with the creatures that fly through it.
