Though I am as nerdy as the next person, those vids where Francis and Jimmy and others are smiling and laughing, are the most enjoyable. I don't mean you should fake some hilarity and wedge it into the episode somehow, but that it is something to look out for when doing the edit. I particularly enjoyed this one for example.

For such a long trip, wouldnt it make more sense to have a big cassette, but 2 front rings, in order to have more gearing options? On the flat, i love my 12-25 for example. It's just awesome to have small increments, rather than big jumps.

I really like Scott bikes, I've owned two including the Solace that I ride now. However, the problem with all of these bikes running Di2 is the height of the hoods. Talk about ruining whatever aerodynamic advantages the frame might give you. It's basically two huge blocks going down the road on the front of your bike. They have to design it so that isn't the case. Don't like the paint scheme on this bike either, but that's just a personal preference.
This bike was really easy to assemble th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

i am trying to find one of these in a 58. I am planning on racing cross gravel and some road but man I cant afford 3 more race bikes. The xc bike is already enough lol. sick build, I think I will try to do something similar with force axs and xo1.
May I ask, why did you decide to go with 28mm road slick tires instead of some wider (maybe 32-35mm?) gravel slicks? Wouldn't that be more comfortable for the long-distance rides?
