The different sized wheels...😣 That looks cool on muscle cars, not on super cars. You're right, the front wheel is too small, a little bit bigger on both sides and the Lambo gets a 10/10.
Hey there -- my collection has evolved to the point where I have between two and three thousand open cars so storage is starting to become a *serious* issue. As a counter to that, I've started to be more selective about what I buy, and frankly right now the only series that is "knocking it out of the park" consistently for me these days is Team Transports, I have pre-ordered at least two cars from three of the past four waves. When I did my 2023 retrospective post, I could itemize only five Boulevard, 16 Car Culture cars (including six from Premium box sets), two Replica Entertainment, and a single -one- Team Transport that were worthy of being kept. This is a fraction of what was released for 2023. Instead I've focused more on filling out specific casting collections -- I'm only four or five castings away from what is arguably a complete Fire Eater variation collection. For the car-only series I'm willing to pre-order a whole set just to get the one or two cars I want, secure in the knowledge that I can recover at least retail for the ones I don't want by selling to the reseller community. I've done this for both Car Culture and Fast&Furious, and I my Replica Entertainment subscription has morphed into a Pop Culture subscription. I find that Car Culture's themes are less likely to play to my likings, so for the vast majority of sets I'll buy one, maybe two of the cars, and for several waves I've just completely passed on. Boulevard is like Car Culture too, in that the cars they pick are not ones which appeal to me so I'm not heartbroken when I don't find them in the wild and I'm willing to pay a reseller on the aftermarket to get what I do want. The downside of all this is that there's no thrill of the hunt any more since I know in advance what's coming, and I know that I'm for sure going to get most of what I want. Most of the "surprise" finds are at my monthly meet and are non-Mattel cars, or sometimes older or rarer Mattel cars. I think that this is currently a golden age of sorts, in that there are now lots of classic racing and rally cars that were around from back when I was a kid -- Group-C and WRC cars, '80s and '90s sports cars, and the IMSA Audi 90 cars to name a few. Castings that are completely new to us Hot Wheels collectors. I still need to work out my storage issue. 😕 (Tech note -- I stopped watching you regularly when you stopped the weekly videos, and the sound wasn't as good as I remember you being. Don't know if that's a known issue or a conscious change you've made, but figured I'd mention it.)
Very cool set, love the color of the Countach (i don't think it looks bad, but it pales next to the MiniGT version), the 2021 GR Supra and the (almost) clean looks of the R32 with the mini Godzilla on the side. Nice that you keep mentioning the terrible 'dot matrix' printing quality on cars with busy decos, maybe one day Mattel will listen and improve on that aspect. Or maybe they won't, because they sell like hot cakes, who knows. Thanks for the presentation.
I have all 100 boulevards and like how varied the set is. They definitely are hard to find in store but there is ebay and whatnot to fill in the gaps or trading.
What about collectors like me? I don’t hoard, scalp, hide in stores, make hunting douche videos, act like cases just fall out of the sky, pallet raid, pay off employees or any of that stuff. I just collect to have fun and do so for 4 people (3 friends and myself) so I grab everything I can to get a set for everyone.

Zamacs are lot a Walmart exclusive anymore they just didn’t mark them as zamac wouldn’t surprise me if they came out another set like this series and just call it something else keep yo the amazing content
I like Boulevard but I'm usually too late to the pegs. I only usually find what I want once the sets go out of stock then get restocked months later. I want the 3000GT and R32 Skyline. But, not enough to want to get them online for higher prices.
Lately (last 3 or 4 sets) I think the Blvds are much better than the other HW premium series cars. I think the models and liveries just are more interesting. They are very frustrating due to the limited release at Walmart only but it also appears they often come out once and then that’s it. Stores appear to get a release and then that’s it.
I just checked the base codes page on the Wiki, T is 2024. I'm not generally a fan of the modern Supra but I might pick this one up if I see it just for the Canon logo, even if I personally mainly shoot with Nikon. (I wanted to buy a used DSLR in 2023, I could've gone for a Canon but I opted for a Nikon D3300 simply because I already have a long zoom lens (300mm) for a Nikon but nothing above 70mm for a Canon.)
yeah, with all that skyline BS, it really takes a dump on the hobby, I mean, I’ll get it for the right price, at the right time, but other than that, it’s a love-hate thing
Well, i was very surprised at how bad the paint chipping was on those diecast. Boulevard were supposed to be very well done, i thought. Those are hard to find on the pegs including the fiat, at least where I live. Im not that interested in them really so i will not be buying them from a third-party. I do like the 4 runner but I'm not going out of my way to get it. Trying to be more selective. Great video!

I guess a specific casting becomes popular in time, when many collectors desire it. I would always advise, like you said, to collect what you like, not what others like!
Don't buy much hot wheels. Don't care for the graphics. There quality control seems to be slipping on there premium models and yes I agree that Lamborghini looks off with those wheels and the front end. Poster car does a way better job for a few bucks more. Thank you for all the great video
I'm not huge fan of that Lamborghini Countach.I don't see why they made that front wheel that small to begin with. The real car doesn't have that way. I like the one from Jay Leno's garage series or the ones they debuted back in the 90's. I love the color scheme on the Fiat Modificado, but those tampos are garbage. You can see the pixels or whatever they are called. I could do a better job hand painting those on. The rest of the set is JDM heavy so it isn't exactly for me. However that being said I do love those Liberty Walk Super Silhouette Nissan Skyline castings. The modified body kits, huge spoilers, etc... That's more my thing. To be honest I liked the first couple of years of the Boulevard series a lot more, and to be even more frank I loved the original Hot Wheels Garage series way more.
I like the Boulevards. I've missed a few I'd like to find, but happy with the ones I have been able to find. I agree about the Countach,it looks good but the wheels and tires aren't right. Too large rear wheel and Too small front wheel. I know that Fiat 500 is the Italian equivalent to the VW beetle and is a important historical Italian car,but it just looks like a clown car to me especially the way Hot Wheels has done it.
Pretty uninspiring Blvd set had to throw a skyline in there to have any collectors interest. I have seen the Fiat Lambo and Mitsu hanging on the pegs for 2 weeks. QC issues a bummer too. Is the tipping point finally coming for Mattel as their castings gets worse and other brands like Mini Gt Inno64 and even PopRace continue to get better for similar money?🤷🏻♂️
I definitely think Boulevard is more exciting than Car Culture anymore for sure. Car Culture repeats themes too much now and uses the same castings. They definitely bomb a lot of castings using the larger rear wheels 🤮. Have you seen the Gordon Murray car coming out? Looks awful. Also, I have the Fiat in front of me and it seems like the dot matrix effect is much less visible. I’m guessing you just got a pretty sloppy one
Boulevard is very annoying to me, most store exclusives are annoying. Only found the 1st 5 that came out, after that only found or have seen #64 Aero Sculpt. I resort to buying them from a trustworthy online hobby shop. Don't think you're being too rough with your comments about the laser jet paint jobs, infact, if you know anyone from HWs maybe complain to them. Maybe we should all bomb OTD with complaints, I think he works for HWs. Did you by any chance look inside the bubble on the card of the Fiat and Subaru for the chips? Maybe you can glue them back on. Their quality is slipping and it bothers me.

Modern Classic is what I'm waiting on but the is wheels don't bother as much as getting the size of the cars wrong or off

Hot Wheels Premium Series cannot compare to the quality and detail of Mini GT, GCD, and Tarmac Works just to name a few.
I guess I'm lucky to not care that much about Skylines.
