Potato came from Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world divided by Peru and Bolivia. It is said to be first discovered 10,000 years ago. I been to Lake Titicaca and Puno. Travelled in Peru for 3 weeks. Amazing country.

@NasDaily Peru is really amazing, I would like to see a trip to Brazil with a different approach to what we see out there, not being limited between Rio, Amazonia or São Paulo, Brazil has really fantastic cities in the interior, rich culturally and financially with high HDI indexes and very low rates of violence.

Summer in Christmas, winter in July, but the winters are mild, unless you’re up high in the mountains. And up in the high mountains, the summer mornings are cold too! Put this into perspective, Cusco’s winter mornings are as cold as Sacramento’s winter mornings, but Cusco’s summer mornings are as cold as South Lake Tahoe’s summer mornings! So its morning temperatures doesn’t vary too much year round, and afternoon temperatures are about the same everywhere in the high mountains in Peru year round!
