Bruh, same here. I'm a college graduate, and I sometimes have nightmares that I'm back in high school, middle school, or even elementary school, and the math in those grade levels ends up going over my head. That it is either too difficult for me, or that it's so simplistic, that my college-level brain finds it to be a completely foreign concept.
I think higher definition graphics would make this game less scary. The ambiguity and paranoia, asking "did I see what I think I saw?" Is what makes this game so unsettling
Hehehehe, Barotrauma is also a good contender for diving into an ocean of hell with dense and obtuse controls. But with FRIENDS! It's the extreme gritty realistic version of We Need to go Deeper. Though it may cause too high of a heart rate spike.
@@Sam_Aimar It's an atmosphere thing that is very dependent on the person playing the game. Clicked on this vid to watch on my 2nd monitor while im playing Terraria. The music suddenly doubling up really weirded me out. Closed the game with Task manager thinking i had the game running twice or something. Either way, great music choice tho lol
I'm glad i can understand both english and spanish (my native language) Also, i always found weird and funny whenever people use Terraria soundtracke when they don't play the game at all
Overall this is a pretty great video! My only potential critiscism, is that the background music and constant sound effects very much take away from the atmosphere of Iron Lung, which is arguably it's defining feature. Only a minor thing though!
If this were a more serious playthrough of Iron Lung, I would agree with you; however, Ironmouse herself was definitely trying to inject some humor into this session ("I have to do MATH?!" "Oh, shit, it's my ex-wife" *exclamations in Spanish* "I am out of here, YEE-HAH!" etc.), so more editing for humor does fit here. ... though I will agree it was a bit excessive at some points.
i mean iron mouse is a comedic person so if she went all serious mode that'd be a little jarring. this vids definitely made with the expectation that you've seen a more serious playthrough/have played it yourself already
She would have really liked some of those 8-bit LucasFilms games like Eidolon. They have weird machines you were driving around without much of any explanation.
*English translation for the spanish parts* 1.- Oh my god the fire, be careful with the fire 2.- Oh god, the pressure, i have high pressure! 3.- The blood, the blood ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For once, there wasn't any swear words this time (in spanish) only "Mamawebo"
Ironmouse I'm pretty sure you already heard but Pikamee is retiring or graduating whatever you want to call it at the end of this month, and I was really hoping you'd reach out and collab with her one more time because when you two were playing that bunny game I seriously laughed my ass off. Please give it a thought 🙏🥺
7:21 I can't remember if it was a comedian or something on TH-cam. But I remember a joke about "gummies" and how grandma's would give the best head.......that's all I could think of when she was saying this. Half for the funnies. Half because I know that someone without teeth would unironically give insane...uh....gumming
Nice video but I think mr editor went a little wild with the sound effects. They were a bit over the top for a horror game that's mostly about hearing.
x means the latitude point, y means the longitude. so if mouse is wondering what a means, then a is for altitude, usually measured on how many feet high above sea level or at least how high she is from the ground, if you are on submarine though it could measure as how deep you are below sea level
In this game I'm pretty sure A is for the Angle your ship is facing so you can take the picture. There's a separate bar on the left of the window for depth.

Well tbf, she did watch Connor play it, so she knew what to expect/look out for.
@@TehDerpyOne not really, she said she knew Connor played it, she was going on blind only knowing that the game scared Connor.
I’ll never get tired of ironmouse randomly cursing in Spanish
Especially with boricua accent
It was the southern accent for me too. I immediately thought of Sandy singing about TX from "SpongeBob".

Gracias xD

I like the fact that she's more afraid of math than being stuck in a rusty submarine in an ocean of blood surrounded by god knows what.
In a universe where every star and habitable planet vanished without warning
I may be a gringo who only understands basic Spanish, but I'll never get tired of Ironmouse going ape shit in her native tongue
Mousey kind of gives me "I can't do sudoku because I'm bad at math" energy in this one
common based mouse W. sudoku is ass
I mean, you aren't wrong.
This can only end well…for the viewer.
I loved Iron Lung so much! I’m happy to see Metal Rodent playing it!
A game with such an awesome premise as Iron Lung deserves a high quality remake/expansion. I hope that's happening.
I'd be happy with more lore, even if is sad AF
I want a higher quality version, like better graphics, especially for the anglerfish at the end, he deserves more.
@@samuraijackson241 Having a few different endings with an element of chance would make it even more frightening too.

Mouse may have claimed to be stupid but she figured out movement in this game faster than half the streamers ive watched play it
the absolute chad mouse, finishing it in her first run
Aww yes, the scariest part of any horror game the math.
Mouse being more afraid of the math is a vibe.
The game is made by the creator of Dusk. Another game I recommend you and Connor play if you haven't already.

I love the Corruption music from Terraria, it fits the aesthetic
Mousey as a sus navigator who sometimes turns into a microwave really floats my boat (and holds more water than Mousey inadvisably holding her pee).
You'd think that she'd be good at playing this game, given her name and medical history.

All of this editing really sabotages the horror

It’s so funny that she somehow completely missed the ending jumpscare.
