TV numbers will continue to drop or at best stagnate as long as Neal Brown remains at the helm of the WVU football program. As the graph indicated when WVU plays at an even remotely quality fashion our fans tune-in to watch with numbers and passion. However there's only so much humiliation any fanbase can take and be expected to still tune-in and watch the games. Just one fans two cents worth and love the show brother Couz! 🎥🎬❤

@@djmih13 only thing the WV ADM understands is LOST MONEY. They don;t care what then fans think about them or Brown. If they stop going to the games and spending money that will eventually get the message. Not being on TV really hurts the financial stream .

Couz, some states have more than one professional and collegiate teams to follow. West Virginians basically only have Marshall and WVU. If viewership continues to drop, it's concerning. Some of my friends refused to watch after the Pitt debacle. Thanks Good video!

You are also forgetting that WV does not have a top 50 TV market. Those numbers, although not as good as they were 5 years ago, are still good. Most sports media TV numbers, minus NFL and SEC, are down. It’s was talked about on the Big 12 Mafia Show (Tuesday, 8PM Eastern) on more than one occasion.

    • @fwilliamcony28

WV may not have a pro football or baseball team inside its boundaries, but there are tons of fans for the Steelers/Pirates in the Northern part of the state, Commanders (former Skins)/Nationals fans in the Eastern Panhandle and Bengals/Reds fans down the Southwester counties (ie Logan)

Yes. It has been impacting all facets of the tv, ticket sales, and recruiting. It's a trickle down problem that is making WVU a not so great prodcut to sell. I've beem saying this for a couple years. Even a scarier situation, it puts WVU further down on the list for expansion desirability. Brown has done major harm. He should have been fired 2022. His buyout should have been negotiated. WVUs issues aren't just coaching, they include administration.

Not according tom the fan boy Brown fans. he needs more time. Wait till next year with a weak schedule with Bobby Moe and Ohio U he might win. The fanboy club will be saying he has arrived and want a contract extension. Still has not beat a team with a winning record. Might beat UCF this weekend and all will be well with FANBOY Club.

Coach Neal Brown is a nice person but he is out of his league. He should go coach high school or D3 college football. All of the staff needs to go. The strength and conditioning needs to also go. WVU players always seems to be out of breath and out of shape compared to the teams they play against.

Bengals and Wvu are the most disappointing teams in college and nfl . Both had high expectations . Both needs real coaches. New AD/ New owner . JOE BURROW has MVP numbers along with chase . Their kicker missed 2 more late field goals that would of sealed that game. He missed a chip shot in OT against Baltimore. We had the Chiefs beat in AAROW HEAD 4th and 20. Threw it over his head . They threw a late flag . 7 secounds after the play lost 26-25. Had Baltimore down 2 touch downs- with a first and 10. Fumbled the ball collapsed . Then came back. Was going for a 2 point play and the win. They clearly hit burrow in the face + defense grabbed chase no flag another loss. Being a WVU / BENGAL fan is too much . Done watching sports this year until both teams make some serious management changes. Bengals could easily be 8-3 right now. WVU could be 6-4 . Both defenses are down right terrible . If brown dosnt start Nicco thr final 2 games . Word has it he's transferring . Can't blame the kid . No body likes playing for Neil brown . Has one of the highest transfer portal of his players in the country

Apologies Couz but I am out on WVU FB until complete change from very top. NB has shown disrespect for fans for many weeks. You get that attitude from your boss. Neither were WVU fans before coming here, and neither will be after they leave. If the octogenarian was any type of a leader he'd retire early, and let a new President whos a WVU fan review and resolve. So again, apologies but I am out, and for also no longer watching your excellent podcast or any of the other guys.. And don't blame NB, blame his boss who put us here.
