Great video, look forward for your track guides :-) As a Keyboard+Mouse pilot, I keep grav-compensation enabled. (Without analogs, it's pita.) Still have a lot of fun with Kb/M, although it never will be competitive.
@@mga77 yeah for mkb grav compensation helps so you don't have to play flappy bird the whole time hehe glad you're having fun with it! Will try to get those track guides out asap 🔥
Love the videos and especially this one is helpful.. Have you had the thought to do racing ships breakdown? To do pros and cons of each racing ship in terms of which one is the best.. I'm super new to racing and Player vs Time thingy, pledging Mirai Fury LX to master it since racing right now is the best (working in SC verse XD) game loop.
@@steelcaldari9749 thank you for the kind words ❤️ yes I definitely have that kind of video series in mind but since I'm still in the process of releasing the track guides, I'm waiting for 4.0 since it should be out soon and any potential flight model changes and then do ship breakdown from there :)
@@Jakodin I just switched the settings, giving the test and the difference is amazing.. Like I knew racers fly decoupled but to me it was hard to keep the ship aligned with the direction I desire.. as for lowfly it's easy to maintain for you fly in one direction most of the time but in race and the tracks with sharp curves to me it's totally magic to keep up with.. First flight on Lorville Outskirts my time was 1min 35sec, to compare with before I was flying coupled and with GSAFE on 1min 29sec.. Think GSAFE takes much away from ship potential, now thanks to this vid I know it. I feel that I can cut more with your settings with the Fury LX.. I hope 4.0 will be kind to all of us no matter what's the game-loop of yours..
@@tomcatvrkalisz820 thanks for the feedback ❤️ yes I am. It is my preferred way to play SC and figured I'd translate how I see the game to the videos I make
@Jakodin I share same view and enjoy ultrwide view. BTW I think they might fix wide screen in recent patch and now with DLSS enabled those marker shift is no longer an issue.
As someone who is interested in not necessarily racing, but just having better control, and flying better, do you ever partake in dogfighting? If so, do you find yourself winning due to your increased speed and skill? Or do you fly purely in racing?
@@GrimGearheart yes I've actually been getting myself into it a bit more lately. I definitely think learning flying through racing has sped up the process of learning to dogfight. The biggest difference felt is that racing focuses a lot on the forward momentum and maximising speed while dogfighting is more about maintaining a clear pattern with another moving target. The element of aiming and distance control obviously only comes with dogfighting but the ship control definitely is improved by both
@@Jakodin I've been watching more of your races, and it's incredibly impressive. I don't know if you've ever done this before, but Tobii eye tracker has a function that allows you to see exactly where the you're looking using a ghostly circle. I think it would be great to have that on for some races to see what part of the screen you're paying attention to the most, for us newbies. The whole time I was watching, I was most curious about what you were looking at, your TVI, or the checkpoints, or your console, etc.
@GrimGearheart that would indeed be very awesome to be able to show tho unfortunately I do not yet own a Tobii 😅 it is definitely something I am looking forward to getting tho! Even the headtracking would be great for more spacial awareness during tight races
@@Jakodin You might want to reach out to tobii and see if they'll send you one, or give you a discount. You've got the pedigree, having been invited to racing events, etc. Your videos get thousands of views. The worst they can say is no. Maybe they'll give you an affiliate deal, put your referral link in your video descriptions, etc. :D
As soon as 4.0 launches, please make a detailed video on Razor vs Razor LX
