Just getting back into doing these things after 45 YEARS away from it. This video is great. Mainly because you know HOW to make the VIDEO as well as the stitching!!! Many know the stitching but cannot make a vid at all!!
Its doing a brick stitch (by adding a new string). The same step is also in another video of mine: th-cam.com/video/u4B4o6e2ZhY/w-d-xo.html Or you can search for boondoggleman's website page on this: www.boondoggleman.com/prj_starting_brick.htm
+みいたんニャムとまみぃーのいろいろナビ sorry. what I meant is , yes you're right it's hard. and it's even harder to start this stitch. I meant by easy on the last step video, is that it's easier than the harder one... What I would suggest is to practice not by starting the stitch, but practice by making from the second stitch and on. You can do it by starting a normal box stitch, then make another box stitch and add 2 new strings one on each direction. and here you go, you have a 2by2 without starting by a 2by2. Don't worry I'll explain in a more detailed video.

Do you have to use a pencil?
Fine I mean good
every time i try the box stitch, i end up making a infinity loop, or a pretzel! lol
The infinity loops are known as the zipper (:
How do I add a key ring to that?
you can add it in between the loops, that's after you make a few stitches.
That's tough
This is hard😭😭😭
