I never learned how to make these as a kid, but they were popular when I was young in the 70s. I recently heard that making these is a good activity for people with anxiety, so I ordered a kit and started watching how to videos. This is the clearest one so far. I can't wait until my supplies arrive so I can follow along and make one of these. Mid 50s and going thru another childhood! 🤪🙂🙃 Thanks for the helpful tutorial!
This is perfect. Clear voice, love how you talk slowly so that we can understand you well. And you move slowly so that we can really see what you're doing. Well done, and thanks for sharing!
This helped so much I made one for my friend and I didn’t know how to end it so I did a ton of knots then I was making another one and I was watching this and it helped a lot thank you so much
😆Oh man, I finally found this - the simple square, two-string braid from when I was a kid! (We used it for friendship bracelets!) All the other search results were fancy, multi-strand shenanigans! Thank you so much!
@@Laneyards well, I don't know because I'm still at a starting level xD one day I wanna do the scoubytunnel 😍 but for now it's impossible, I wanna do all the other tutorial first xD anyway any tutorial is perfect for me 🙈 if I think of a new tutorial I'll tell you :3 thank youuu
i remember back in 1958 we had a cotton reel put 4 small nails around the hole and brought 3/16 inch round plastic and made square what ever you call it rope braclet on the bus going to school
QUESTION: I have recently bought new lanyard mat'l at a craft store like "Michaels/Zaks": and found the lanyard to be a greasy sort of plastic that really did not hold the knots well. I don't know the chemical differences in the materials. So,,, where can a person get the older lanyard material that seemed to hold knots / stitches better.????
Can you tell me where you get your gimp? All I've been able to find is some that is much smaller than what I remember in day camp from my youth. Thank you.
Your United States flag was my biggest stick I had ever done when I was in middle school. Later on I completed the tunnel lease stitch. I forgot what it was called
