Just got these a couple of days ago, what EQ settings would you recommend? Currently using +3 treble and +2 bass. Satisfied but just checking what others are rocking with.
@@A2KMediaIt's the original PX model which used genuine leather. It's only BT 4.1 and their clamping force is (still) too much, but other than that, they rock even these days. I considered an upgrade to PX7 S2, so I'm thankful for your video. Cheers from Slovakia. EDIT: I also own Sony WH-1000XM4 and while their ANC is top notch and they are more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, I still prefer B&W for the way they sound and look. 😊
Nice! It's great to hear your perspective on the original PX model. And I do agree that B&W looks pretty spectacular compared to some other headphones. Thanks again for watching the video and for your comment. (Slovakia is still on my bucket list for travels but I'm sure I will go there one day)
I had initial isse connecting to them, but then after updating the app it was fine. I had that app for a while before these headphones so might be why. generally once I set the settings - found no use for the app
Does it sound dry like px8 sound compared to dynamics and realism of px7 s2 ? (I felt px8 had no colouring & its bass felt slow/boomy & not as punchy/ big like px7 s2) had to return my px7 s2 then but im interested in purchasing px7 s2 again for its sound but wondering, shall I go for cheaper option as its £245 now or worth trying px7 s2e? is there a big sound difference? Perhaps the sound signature is closer to sounding like px7 s2 or px8 please?
@@ProjectPewgf compared both and still chosen px8. Sound wise those are similar with little big wider scene on px8, but in terms of comfort, PX8 does not have competition.
I returned my momentum 4s a few months ago as I did not like the sound or build compared to my momentum 3s which are way superior imo. My momentum 3s are now dying so I've bought these ps7 s2e and I hope they're an upgrade on my momentum 3s
@@petersteele1014have you got an update on this? I am also coming from a Momentum 3 that are dying and can't decide whether I should get the M4 or the PX7 S2e
I bought the cloud grey - returned them cus they will get dirty in no time even though they're gorgeous. I then got the green and the blue to see which colour I liked best - the green are soooo nice and look so premium with the gold detailing. The blue are VERY blue, but the green are so much more subtle. For me, green was the winner.
@@penguinchilli6244 ahh nice one.... Thanks for the info.....at the moment I'm about 70/30 in favour of green but expect to change mind another 50 times until I purchase 😂
S2e's support the best qualcomm Bluetooth codecs like aptx hd, aptx adaptive but not sony's ldac.. While samsung supports only ldac as their hd codec.. So with samsung phones plus this headphones aptx is the only option left..

Give them a month or so to break in, the sound is going to be noticeably better.
@@styner3 great! Right now it’s amazing still! are you using EQ with yours? Lmk your set up if ever
Full 6 👍👍
@@tsunamipapi173 , not really tried using the EQ too much, hoping more reviewers would touch on that.
No eq. They already have a bathtub curve. Maybe even tone down the base a bit. Try to ge used to a bit more neutral.
Listening to this on my B&W PX headphones. Luv 'em
Which ones do you have?

They look promising but i still wonder how are they doing with the app. I hear some people find the app a little bit bit buggy

How to they compare to older PX7S2 ?
About to buy my first BMW🎧
These headphones sound much better after they break in.

@styner3, could you comment on the bass situation between the two.
Thanks

Had them but returned them after i got a chance to test the momentum 4.

Thanks

@wleng the Bowers And Wilkins are the best head phones I've ever owned for many reasons. The sennheiser don't even come close!
@@petersteele1014 thank you. I was about to pull the trigger and this seals it!
only 2 band eq?
Hi, Sonos ace or PX7 S2e?
Which one is better? Px7 s2e or PX8? I usually listen acoustic songs, pop and sometimes i watch movies. How is the bass? Thank you.

Why is that?
Nah they have aptx and Samsung phones have Aptx so it will work great.
This is such a strange thing to drop and not elaborate
