if you take a photo of the wiring in the back of the towbar plug and undo the wires frim that end rather than at the fuse/relay end,this is much easier and very basic to rewire back together if you require a new grommit. Is this where the rear was/wipe water feed pipe is located as on my Mk1 octavia the motor and wiper is working but no water is been squirted onto the back window?
The gaskets on the cabin filter and the thing on the other side i cant recal the name of can fail, this causes huge water ingress to front footwells and because the floor is tapered back puts water into rear footwells. take wipers off, remove plastic covers to gain access to cabin filter etc and re mastic/seal and no more leaks into front and rear footwells
definitely rain water I even empty the screen washer bottled to be sure and left it empty for over week but every time I check it water is there it's not the lights either I have them sealed so guess new boot seal is worth a try
I have the same issue, though I have rain water collecting in both rear corners and spare well... If anyone finds a solution I'd love to find out.
Hi Had same problem too.. I replaced with newer rubber seal is no easy to change needs removing all the plastic parts:(

where did you find the leak on the left hand side behind the light could you tell me please
If you have a leak there its the screen wash pipe there is a join in there somewhere
nope it's not that the pipe was cracked but I put in new one and it's working now and no leaks. I only get water in left hand side after it rains
Noel Nolan sounds like the door seal needs a look at if that's the case. Is it rain water or screen wash your finding
