It only takes a little control surface deflection at very high speed, reduce deflection and reduce speed. Check CG, Launch slightly nose-up.

Like so many small R/C models, your SBC flies at far too fast to look anything close to realistic. Jet-powered Navy biplanes of the 1930s were extremely rare.
Nice build, but the top wing's yellow is much too pale. It was orange/yellow, called "chromium yellow" and quite vivid as you can see in many references.

This model is designed for 1/12th scale RC air-combat, a streamer is attached and it is pitted against other models in a dogfight, with the aim of cutting the streamers of the other models and keeping its own streamer intact. It isn't meant to fly at a scale speed, the aim is to be as fast and manoeuvrable as possible.

@@Pete-tq6in Well, it looks like you've succeeded. It's a very nice build. Notwithstanding the wrong colour of the top wing, it looked great before you launched. After that, ridiculous.
You might try flying it at less than full power to see if it can fly at closer to scale speed. It costs nothing to do this and it just might look great in the air.
      No offence intended.
      Cheers.

      @@Glicksman1, it’s not my model.

@@Pete-tq6in Well then, please pass along my comments to whoever's model it is.
BTW, I've seen some photos of SBDs on a carrier in which the top wing colour appears to be pale yellow. If this is where the builder got the colour for his model, I understand. However, either these photos have faded or were not correctly colour matched when reproduced. The actual top wing colour of chromium yellow used on all U.S. Navy aircraft of that era is easily found in many places.

@@Glicksman1, the uploader of this video is probably the owner of the model. I have no connection with them. With regards scale accuracy, 1/12th air combat models are really only built as facsimiles, there’s no requirement for them to have historically accurate colour schemes, let alone to have the exactly correct shades of paint.
These models often end up hurtling into the ground in pieces after a mid-air collision, they’re optimised to be fast and simple to build and often feature well-padded and quick to remove RC equipment modules that can be taken from a wrecked airframe and installed in a fresh airframe very quickly.
