I’m trying my first Sierra Nevada Pale Ale right now, it’s honestly really good. I just got tired of drinking your typical Buds, so I went to the liquor store and was standing there for 30 minutes researching different types of beers on my phones. I eventually pulled the beer I wanted, checked out went home and couldn’t find a bottle opener. I was like “I spent all this time and can’t even drink my beer.” I was very upset but lo and behold my ol’ lady found a can opener that had a bottle opener attached to it. I couldn’t have been more thankful. After taking my first sip I was very surprised, so I took another and said to myself. “I’m never buying a Bud Light again.” Lol
Living in Chico right now and I'm completely attached to Sierra Nevada brews, nothing like getting home after work and cracking open a hop hunter to complete the day. Thank you Sierra Nevada!!
I had my first Sierra Nevada pale ale when I was sixteen. A couple left in a cooler after my parents had a party. I snuck out and grabbed them. The first taste was annihilating and I hated it for about ten seconds, as it was such a shock. Certainly no piss water. Ten seconds later, I took a second sip. it was the beginning of a love affair that's lasted seventeen years now, and I don't expect it will ever end. I've never found it's equal.
I bought this at the only place you could back in 1995, Trader Joes. I took it to party's and I always, ALWAYS, got - Whoa Dude - where did you get that! Since then, brewing myself, knowing brewers, and even some big-time brewers, I learned you can never go wrong comparing any of it to Sierra Nevada. True.
Thanks for the great content here! Thanks also for helping to create the craft beer renaissance here in the US! I know so many brewers who started their craft beer careers because of your Pale Ale! Thanks for being you! Keep doing what youre doing. Respect!
Such a great vid of a great company and not just a great beer, but many, many great beers: Pale Ale (signature, green label), Flipside (red IPA, means autumn is near), Narwhal (huge, dark, brilliant, "high altitude"), Ruthless Rye (bold and beautiful) and many others. Ok, confession: I'm about half an hour from Chico's Sierra Nevada Brewery and can drop by for a pint on my way home from work = very lucky. Three decades + of smart, imaginative, delicious craft brewing and going stronger than ever. Cheers.
Huge Sierra Nevada fan in Florida! Cant wait for the 'wet n wild hop' to become available. This video blew my socks off, very beautifully produced. SN:Pale Ale hands down favorite American pale.
I've always loved beer since I started drinking, but only would drink the main lagers (bud light, Heineken, ect.). then one of my buddies introduced me to craft beer and the first one he gave me was a torpedo ipa and I instantly fell in love. I don't even like the mainstream beers anymore lol.
I think I had my first pale ale 4 or 5 years ago... since then most American brew to me has tasted like piss water. By far my favorite brewery of all time!! Keep at it!!!! By the way The absence of the tropical torpedo here in Danville ky has been driving me crazy. Please send more. A lot more
The hop room at this place will get you high LOL. Been everywhere inside it and what I tell my friends is that it's like Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory for beer nuts. Just doing the public tour, the music from the Wonka movie (original) when the kids first walk into the room with the chocolate waterfall starts playing in my head (pure imagination song).
I’ve been wanting to try Sierra Nevada beers for quite a while. I finally got my first three pale ale, torpedo extra ipa, and celebration. Glad I tried them makes me want to try more but I can’t find one that I really want to try which is the narwhal
I do conquer! Thank god October is over! What? Make a harvest brew! We want harvest brew! With a picture of thanksgiving basket full of winter harvest stuff & there’s a turkey on it! Mmmm….turkey! There’s something in turkey that makes me sleepy!
