Why people have to label Lead Acid battery as inferior is sad. LA batteries have their own advantages and Li-ion has serious disadvantages. There are cases of complete fleet of buses and racing ebikes being burnt away, dreamliner planes grounded for months by li-ion batteries. Even power banks are barred in airplane check-in luggage. LA batteries have never EVER had such serious disasters. This Li-Ion is supreme promotion was started by Elon Musk. Earlier scooters were poor because the batteries were chinese and the motor was of smaller size (below800W) suited for chinese cities with smooth roads. Also they were hubmotors. Today the difference is they are selling with 3,000W motor. But only Ather scooter has middrive motor.

Amit ji, i am also hopeful that these electric scooters will find a stable ground in india. Although the aspects you have told in this video is not apllicable in all cities. I have not seen a single charging point in pune. Even the cng technology that is so old does not have proper filling stations. A line of 10 to 15 cars is a common sight and more so for commercial vehicles sometimes a very long que. Maybe delhi has different set up. Infrastructure is very important. I think battery swapping and home delivery of the same will be a better option.
