Thanks Zane looks a great plugin. AAX - AU - VST2 - VST3? How would I know what one I’m meant to be selecting? I keep trying to install vst’s but can’t seem to find them on my mpc beats.🥺. I’ll get it eventually I guess lol
Hi Zane, Thanks for you all your intersting videos - you are a good teacher ! Please which effects can I use with Ample Bass P Lite ii ? but I just wanna have clean bass sounds, like what we know in Pop - ballades and Reggae for example. I don't play hard things !!! Wish all the best to continue and God Bless you - Salutation from Berlin
The amp plugin that I use in the video is free not a demo. I also recommend checking out the free bass amp plugin called “Bass Deluxe” from Lost in 70s. I’ve started using that as my main bass amp sim now and it’s completely free. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
Another great review Zane. I've used this plugin for a while now. It is the best free one that I could find. That being said it doesn't give the electric bass sound that I want. I'm looking for a deeper, fuller sound that can drive a song. You mentioned that you use a "paid for plugin", may I ask which one? Thanks for the work that you do.
If you would like to try the Full version : Ample Bass Precision 3.2 You can try the trial version. It is the Full version , but limited to 7 days. Its available here: www.amplesound.net/en/download.asp
Because it just doesn't have them recorded. Each note is recorded separately and so it's going to be limited. The most you can do is down tune the strings by 2 semitones max to drop d or d standard.
For some reason yours sounds a lot smoother than mine. Mine just sounds like it has no amp. Like it's dry. I don't know why. What settings do you use to make it sound smooth?
No. This will accept midi notes and tab but not audio. You could record your guitar notes and there are ways to convert that to midi then you could use that as the input for this plugin. Cakewalk by Bandlab makes it very easy to convert audio to midi.
@@AudioTechTV Thanks , I have just downloaded it the 64 bit version , I use waveform 11 and when I am clicking the scanning for plugin nothing appears, any advice for that? thanks again
How are you programming the VST? If you're using a keyboard, play the notes you want to hear on the keyboard. If you're using a piano roll or another midi sequencer, program the notes you want to hear. There are no real strings or frets so the tuning shouldn't matter.
I can't get to grips with this blooming music making software at all. Cakewalk just won't install itself onto my system no matter what I do and none of the other free DAWS seem to have any instruments in them. I know that you guys keep telling us to install virtual instruments but those things are worse than the flaming DAWS. They all come in messy zip files which contain nothing whatsoever. I want to compose a little bit of music and do some singing for a video I'm currently making. I don't need to work on the music yet but I will soon. I'll come back to this at some point and give it another bash.
You must be looking at the full version and not the “lite” version that this video talks about. The Lite version is still free for however long you want to use it. But the full version might have a one week demo.

Sounds great. Love that you are getting the vibrations from the strings and it sounds like an actual bass. Will have to check it out!
It's a great, free, plugin. You can really customize it to your liking. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍

Hi Zane, thanks for this video! Is It possible to change the tuning of the bass? I'd like to use in drop D or C 🙂
It can only go down two steps, so to D.
@Enrique Luna where do I get this?

Is there a way to get a note to play on the 5th fret of the E string rather than the open A string?
Great video, might be useful to do a quick explainer on what DLL, VST2, VST3, 64 bit, etc etc all mean, it's a bit confusing as a beginner!
I actually have that written down as a video to release soon. Thank you for the feedback and for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍
i cant trigger hammer pull offs in piano roll please reply thank youu
Do all these free vst’s require you to sign in and create an account?
no slide ?
How do u make it sound in the Daw
Sounds great I’m using it on a new song I’m doing. I’m gonna try running it through a VST amp like you’re doing
wow great !! is this amp plugin is a demo version? can I use it to produce and sell the music I make with it? or does it have a limit?

@@sampadaverma Thanks for the tip. I tried it out and I like it. Several presets that give a good starting point.
Bro got the Drip ^^
great video
Anyone know why it stops playing notes when you go lower?

How do I actually create a new bass line and insert it into my track? I can't find any videos that cover that part of it.
You would do that with midi and it depends on your DAW on how you would do it.
@@AudioTechTV thanks for your response I did eventually figure it out, and it's pretty simple once you know which things to click...
I feel ya
For some reason yours sounds a lot smoother than mine. Mine just sounds like it has no amp. Like it's dry. I don't know why. What settings do you use to make it sound smooth?
I don’t think I changed any settings. You can see the settings on the screen. But I do use an amp sim near the end of the video.
It could be the sound card? 🤔 I'll get back to you on this, and compare it to the sound 👍 not sure if this is still relevant to you, but it is to me 😂
Can I plug a guitar and work with that?
No. This will accept midi notes and tab but not audio. You could record your guitar notes and there are ways to convert that to midi then you could use that as the input for this plugin. Cakewalk by Bandlab makes it very easy to convert audio to midi.

Can't figure out how to change the tuning of the bass. I don't play standard tuning so what the hell...
me neither... did you find out?

Can anyone help a true beginner and tell me how to make ample bass work in ableton live lite?
cant download it
you can get it through plugin boutique.
