I think the "new vintage" idea is absolutely a thing. Pokemon is a multi-generational thing and, like you discussed, there's a constant stream of people who's first game, generation, set, etc will be each new era. I think that's why as you look back through older sets of sealed products, they really only increase in price the further back you go outside of a few outliers. There's always demand for every generation of pokemon because each generation is beloved by someone.
🎉Woohoo! I'm the 1000th subscriber to your channel! Congrats on achieving the 1000 sub milestone! Great content!Btw, I've been a collector since 2016!🎈
Do you think PSA especially on 10s is overvalued? The worst 30% pool of PSA10s has to be worse than best 30% Psa9s with current grading but market seem to react especially grade itself not rejecting old labels etc.
I still have my cgc blue labels, since I did comic for a while i didn’t care about the blue boring label. One thing that kills me is the waiting time, overall I keep most of my cards on binder.
If they reprinted 1st edition base it would literally set fire to the entire Pokémon community. It would shatter all confidence that they wouldn't just reprint any set that has value and everyone would and should fire sale all their cards lol.
I don't collect graded cards. I recently purchased a quite valuable PSA graded card. I was shocked to feel in my hand for the first time the cheap plastic case. I decase it, I feel better 👍 I still don't get it, why is it so cheap ? Is it the same quality in the other grading company ?
The new generation will recognise vintage like OG 1st ed zard but will not be collecting them unfortunately it will be too pricey for them.. So thier vintage might be umbreon/giratina/gengar/waifu with enormous 10's population. Sadly the prices will not be as inflated as our vintage vintage 😂😂
Next generation will know the chacters and value old cards but they won't have nostalgic feeling for these particular arts and we'll have hard times to see any kind uptrends for cards that went up 10-100x during covid.

Thanks for subbing!
Pokemon will constantly remind the new generation of players/collector
with more sets like 151.

Hello from another Toronto Pokémon collector! I have been grading my own stuff from here for the past year and have had no issue so far!
I waited quite a while before starting to submit to CGC as well.
The GOAT!!!!! ❤️
VG Pika is on track to be a 10k pop in psa 10
will take 14-16 months, but is coming.
Likely ends up at $150 in a 10.
If I had a dollar for every friend that mom tossed their collection or sold at a garage sale, I’d have like 25$.
Wooow Zach!!! Miss your videos so much!!!
Would you rather have 1 shadowless Charizard psa 9 or all 16 shadowless holos on PSA 7?
GMP with the fresh spongebob mic lol
Cgc grading 225k tcg cards per month and PSA at 550k. It’s much closer than most people think despite all the hate Cgc gets from some vocal people
in 10 years, cgc will be on par with PSA, with better slab quality and Pristine 10 chance. Invest in CGC now
Some of the Worlds promo seem to be underrated, or at least undervalued, why do you think this is so?
They are niche?
I actually felt the opposite about the Future and Past Pokemon in PR.
I sold that Dark Charizard to your buddy. Good to see you got it!

Been watching for quite a while ! thanks guys however I’d like to know what’s going on with this E4 thing :)

Greetings from France 👋
I felt the same when i held my first PSA case. I have graded through CGC and it "feels" more professional.
BGS case is more or less higher quality. Should try that!

If they release more Van Goghs, I will keep on scooping them!🏄🏻♂️🔥🔥🔥
or psa increases their prices and you pay an extra 25k...
We will 110% see $10 or less grading fees with PSA again one day imo, may be 2025, but it'll come... $15/card bulk isn't gonna sustain
30 years we will be rich
Why isn’t my mint-condition Mew from the 1999 Movie Release worth thousands???
