Love that you guys are back and sorry for the whales out there but i agree with pokemon. People who got there (referring to united) deserves trophy cards more than collectors with a lot of cash. If they arent in the tcg and want to sell it to pay for their trip or make money they earned that right. The market will just have to adapt.

Thanks for the great podcast episode, congratulations on the news of becoming a father. Not trying to be the bearer of bad news, but I think it will only be a matter of time until someone can get their hands on an MRI machine to scan full boxes. These are similar to a CT scanner but extremely more detailed. As someone who regularly gets MRI scans it is like night and day on the difference. They are extremely more expensive than a CT scanner but there are still thousands of these machines in the world.

Boxes won’t be safe given the way CT imaging slices through an object.

I think CT scanning will also allow Booster Boxes to be authenticated. I assume you will be able to scan through a booster box just as easy as a pack.... (Maybe the x-ray will be too powerful, not sure) If it is easy, I could see a grading company offering authentication with CT. It would be a huge market in the pokemon TCG
