Great video, well done! My favorite part was when Chris Fixx rang you up on your phone!!🤣

Thank you SO much for this video! 0:27 helped me confirm that the main issue with my car was the actuator (the guy at tires plus said their electric test was "inconclusive" but that the actuator "might" be at fault). With your tutorial, I was able to fix my front driver and passenger door for ~$100, versus the $1200+ I was quoted. Very clear and helpful directions, I have basic tool experience and zero car experience and this video made everything super easy. My car doors work again!

You just saved my LIFE!! I wasn’t 100% convinced that this was the problem until I saw the demo in the first part of your video.. I also have a 2014 but 3 doors have all decided to go at once 😩

Just wanted to thank you for the tutorial. My son now has 4 doors that work. Back doors are definitely a challenge but can be done.

That was my goal! There wasn’t much info on how to replace the actuators in the rears so hoping this is helpful!

Great video. Im going to try to replace my drivers side door actuator. Don't want to give Lexus dealership $800 that they quoted me.

I feel you there, was not trying spend $2k+ when all this cost less than $300

I think my driver side is actually going bad because I had to open it by leaning from the back door.
Lexus should do a recall for this because even if you manage to put your door panel back on 100% how it was, plastic doesn't retain its original shape and you will get creaking and clicking sounds and overall it won't be structurally the same from factory.

First of all thanks for the clean and clear video man it was very easy to watch a actually learn , at least as a visual learner , I just have a question if this is the same process for a 07 is250

Appreciate the comment! I believe the process is 90% the same, since it is a different gen from mine. I think the main difference is how the door panel is attached to the door, There is still one screw behind the door opening lever and one under the window controller panel. I don't have too much knowledge on the 2nd Gen IS but I hope this helps!

@trungalicious hey man, are those actuators OEM? I purchased some from another site and they are so clunky. They are heavy to unlock/lock.

They aren't oem, I bought them off carparts.com
