Something I can’t say enough is how I couldn’t imagine being in Touya’s place in those flashbacks. Like, he burned himself up, and the next thing he knew he was several years older and looked completely different and had a different voice. And then he went home, only to realize that his father had essentially just continued on. All of Touya’s fears had essentially come to life.

Seeing that would have been devastating! Know that you were basically trash in your father’s eyes…that’s harsh! I definitely empathize with him so I really don’t blame him for choosing the path he end up taking. Childhood Trauma is a serious problem and it can dictate our futures if we don’t learn how to manage it properly. For him though, seeing that broke him instantly,no turning back! Hatred fuel his existence from then on!
Pretty sad really,to think that real people have gone through or are going through similar things!
