+Adriel Ferdianto One of the few vocalists (either female or male) who sounds live the exact same way they do in the studio. It's insane. That girl should NOT be that good, haha.
+Levi Everaerts both Elize and Joacim sound the same because the studio version is not modified or with stupid effects they don't need that shit they both have great voices
MadLane All three sound amazing, but yeah, they don't NEED effects. The few vocal effects on Amaranthe's albums are purely there to create a cool effect, not to correct mistakes like Autotune does. The digital/robotic effect on Henrik's backing vocals in the verses and middle-eight of Digital World goes down as one of the best uses of vocal effects in recorded history.

One thing I don't like about Live Performances, is that they tend to always make it impossible to hear what the singers are singing.
Mattimation I agree, the crowds scream too much, but I mean, it wouldn't be much fun if it's a dead crowd either.

I've seen them live, and I enjoy them ... I tend to listen to heavier bands ... but I like Amaranthe. I just wish she would take the ponytail down. Let your hair loose and head bang the shit out of it! I have long hair ... but her hair is perfect for headbanging... she should rock that shit! Do some windmilling! The ponytail head bang just looks silly to me. I'm not sure if she's trying to make it her "signature" thing ... but with hair like that I would own the good old traditional head banging, and make it my bitch!! lol ;). For example Simone Simmons has become pretty known for her head banging ... not because she's doing anything different ... but because she has gorgeous hair and KNOWS how to use it!! A chick that can rock the head bang just as well (and sometimes better) then a man is awesome ... and in the end you don't even need a "signature" thing like a pony tail to stand out among other bands. All you need to do is just be good at it! Of course in the end the most important thing is the music ... which they definitely have down!

I noticed she use to headbang back during their first album .... and now I see her hair in a pony tail most the time .... I still would like to see her do it the traditional way ... looks more bad ass
+MaidenOfDarkness You surely don't know how tangled hair that long would get if she ever did like you want and let it all down and head-banged like crazy, she is actually smart dont know if she always wears it like that, don't know them that well but it would be a nightmare to comb the knots out and it would end up with tons of breakage. As long as she enjoys herself who cares about head-banging, everyone feels the music their way.
Ligeia Noire I have hair down to my waist .... I do know how tangled hair can get, I say right in my comment that I myself have long hair. ..... I head bang at concerts, and in my band as well, and all the female lead singers I have seen do it as well. Your hair being in a pony tail doesn't make a difference with knots. It knots up a little ... however it's not so bad it would damage your hair. In my comment I am also speaking enthusiastically because of how much I enjoy them .... I am not being rude or mean, and I even say how much I like them. I am complimenting on how beautiful her hair is .... surely if you listened to this genera you would see many females headbanging live. I don't think you read my whole comment either ... because at the end I even say "In the end all that matters is the music, which they have down."
It surely gets less tangled on a ponytail for sure and not all types of hair are the same. Yours might not tangle that much but others might. Anyway, I was not criticizing you but stating one of the reasons that could lead to not let it down. But maybe she just wants to wear it up sometimes. It does not get in the way as much and it is more comfortable. Anyway she headbangs anyway so all good.
i love Amaranthe but without Jake E they loose so much. The new Guy is like Favio Lione with a Cat in his voice.
