same as us INTPs.. you could be my friend since childhood and I wont hesitate listing all the offenses over the years to validate my immediate severing of the ties.
This 100%. And to echo a similar sentiment - INTJs are the ultimate non-extrovert, meaning, we don't have a primal need to be around others for survival. People have always congregated in groups for the sake of being protected / accepted by society but the INTJ really is that person that can live alone, do their own thing on their own terms, and thrive.
Defeated? Those points? If being upset is a defeat to you, I question if you are truly an INTP. Most people just choose their MBTI type based on what they like about it. Defeated.. pssfff
@@sosinati3358 I believe 'defeat' is being used loosely to indicate removing the problematic aspects of the rival in question. Making a rival less capable to perform well when that performance is at direct odds with your own could be viewed as a victory. It's not likely meant for that state of emotional distress in and of itself. That serves absolutely no purpose.
Defeat or really annoy? I think the latter is more accurate. But it was pretty damn accurate. ETA: the clarification on what is intended by "defeat" makes sense. So in that respect then defeat is perhaps accurate. For life in general though, annoy.
@@sosinati3358yeah it’s pretty amazing with intp indifference. I’m a mother of one. If someone beats him cool (in intellectual games he’s good at it as it rarely happens). If someone is better than him he’s like “wow” I need to learn more and he moves on. Intps are fascinating that way. I’m a sensor type and don’t understand the flippancy because I’m the opposite of him but I love him and he’s my passion project. The guy is brilliant in ways I’m just trying to understand. If it’s logic based and he’s beaten he sees it as a learning experience to him. For me I’m questioning life😂! All my notions just beaten that have sometimes taken years to develop 😢!
As an NT type myself, the INTP, winning an argument is never my prime directive, but mainly to accrue more knowledge and satisfy my intellectual curiosity. I am like a vampire for knowledge. Now what often frustrates me as an INTP is when individuals strawnman my opinions and arguments without providing with me any logical arguments, or showing any kind of independent and critical thinking to illustrate their point.
Hard agree! Ti demands understanding through knowledge...there's little more infuriating the comments section of a conspiracy theory honeypot post on Facebook, or the people that make such comments. Because there's not a single thing of value to glean from a walking effigy to the backfire effect, pretending that violently protecting their narrow worldview has even a lick of "logic" to it, and there's no way to make them shut up either. I'm just left with this hollow feeling that someone has robbed me of my time - the one single resource I can't hustle more of.
The INTP in me agrees. I spend my life in doubt, and you can make me even wobblier by rushing me or forcing me to walk on eggshells. But if I’m certain about something, if it’s something I actually pondered and researched in depth (all relative), I won’t budge-even if I’m not articulate enough to lay it all out for you to grasp how wrong you are.
i find it disturbing how accurate this was, as far as i can tell being an intj. and the discomfort of seeing my type go first felt like a cautionary tag attached to an otherwise almost too tantalising toolkit.
I feel offensed like an INTJ because I am always presented as an evil person because I love to be informed and built strategies. I am curious and seek for solutions, so shall I be treatened this way because I am intelligent?
@@patrycjakonieczna i see your point. and i agree that it is annoying to be typecast as a villan just because you engage with the world in a different way from most people. i have the same problem, like most intjs obviously. i can also see how my comment played into that stereotype as it was on purpose. i just find it funny to do sometimes, especially in places where i presume that people just simply know better. plus i really find knowledge of what makes people tick useful. not to mess with them - why waste the time and energy. but it's good to have means to defend yourself if need be. still it's good to remember this type of tactics might come back to bite you and it's better to not use them unless necessary - hence the cautionary tag joke. i guess what that wall of text is trying to say is there's no need to be offended as i'm not trying to make the case that all intjs are some machiavellian bad guys. it was all in good fun as far as i see it.
@@gabrielgryziak7926 yeah, I hate to waste energy on people and must admit sometimes tease them to show their narrow ways of thinking. I am aware of those tactics to hold me back and try to do my best to save myself.
Once, I won a discussion with an ENTP. It happened so fast that I could hardly believe it myself, about as described above. I wanted to pin him down to one point of view, because even at the beginning of the discussion he came up with not one, but two topics that contradicted each other. I didn't know how to take the counterpart when he contradicted himself, so I dissected his statement and showed it to him. The discussion was over before it really started. - Which I thought was a pity, because the topic was important and worth thinking about.😔 - INTP
I grew up with an ENTP. Any disagreement was (still is) something to be won regardless of actual opinion. While I can dissect an argument into atoms, having to do it all the time is exhausting, so I tend not to. Apathy is also effective. INTP
Not every ENTP is obsessed with winning arguments we simply want the best argument to win. He probably just presented you with two irreconcilable facts and allowed you to dissect them and find the right answer. Hugely complimentary from an ENTP btw. He will probably bring it up in the future.
The worst is they can be so childish when they start beating around the bush like kids to distract you from their error to avoid confronting it in your presence. They can struggle so much with admitting they were wrong. I mean I can understand cause when you're proven wrong it's harsh for the ego and if people weren't so vicious about mocking people and feeling so superior just because they're right, people would more openly admit when they're wrong 100%. You know, a bit of Fe-ness. Of course we're not talking about every ENTP with this but it's common for immature ones. In all honesty, it's almost pathetic when they refuse to admit their error because this shows a clear sign of a lack of maturity and wisdom. And wise talking can certainly be more valuable than just being factually correct in certain contexts.
The biggest enemy to an INTJ is that friendly snake in the grass that just wants to use you for your talents then throws you under a bus. Once I realised that pattern - I discarded all people in my life who presented fake-friendly and just kept the genuine ones that wanted nothing from me other than my work and my competence. Since then, life has been wonderful.
I will friendly argue with you as I find it easy to distinguish such people and to avoid/get rid of them. While I really hate and struggle to communicate with offensive and imposing people. Like ENTJs. To the point I feel pity I don't have a knife or gun by my side. I hate all kinds of people who consider themselves being better than others and actively expresses it around them.
Yes, especially ENTJs I find them so narcissistic and unnecessarily avoidant to accountability, they're great at getting milk out of the cow without feeding it an ounce of food .
I realized that pattern too. Although it took some time to get used to this. My Fi has been strong and wanted some genuine connections. I had to learn to control this desire. I finally succeeded and now apathy helps a ton. I don't care if speaking the truth out hurts someone, or even if I'm being a hypocrite(which was the most difficult by far, since one of my core principles included not being hypocrite. But other people can very well do it so I had to resort to it to protect my interests. I do it to just protect myself though, and I wouldn't want to hurt someone for no reason at all. I also see it as a strong power up and will never take it for granted) Greetings from another INTJ.
Now that's an interesting series! Although I must admit as ENTP: If you come up with details I switch my framework so quick that you will think you must have misunderstood me or missed some details yourself. As you already said, I'm a linguistic swindler. By the way, I really study linguistic (^_0) So good pointmaking here!
1. Won't work on me. I have the experience to choose my battles wisely. 2. & 3. Will definitely work in most cases. I don't like when a community can group against me. Especially if my intentions are good and productive. Absolutely avoid me as an adversary in my fields of strength. You'll find I'm better utilized as an ally, otherwise be prepared to get a lesson in being outclassed 101. -an ENTJ
@@ll-nf2bs That actually does make a lot of sense. In my case, I openly display connective worth as my top factor in having relationships, but I also realize that I can't always live up to my end of the bargin. If I can't be a useful tool to others to utilize, I should expect the same from them. My type can see others as tools, without a doubt. There are those of us who view others as an asset though. Personally, I'd rather collaborate. It makes life easier.
@@atthecore4560 This has nothing to do with you personally so you can choose to ignore but as an INFP who doesn’t think much about worth of the other person but only whether they are good hearted people, the description you gave feels practical but very calculating and suffocating. I have a long term friend who is ENTJ making likely more than 10m annually now. I would’ve loved her whether she was making 30k per year or 10M per year. But I do sense money changes the person - evaluating people even me based on usefulness. I feel saddened by the fact that I have lost a dear friend the way I connected with. It sends chills down my spine when ENTJ asks questions or says things that are intended to evaluate me or others in certain ways. I felt too sad but came to realize this is the time to probably start distancing myself. No amount of money can make me the way ENTJ is.. I think we were just made differently from the start. I hear that ENTJs are not just all practicality focused and sometimes can enjoy being around types like INFPs too but I fear I am of absolutely no use for people who value practicality money and utility over anything else. Hope your connections turn out to be all useful and not treacherous.
@@atthecore4560 Evryone has weaknesses, or weak points, and everyone can also be good or bad at them relatively speaking, and everyone can improve with enough time and effort. I've met a few ENTJ's in my time, and I can wholeheartedly say caring about individual people's feelings and values are usually not their strong suit, especially when in get shit done mode. All ENTJ's should keep this in mind, if there is one thing I am sure of is that expecting people to not act irrationally or otherwise because of their feelings is truly irrational. Just being aware of this and not being a dick/emotional dictator can raise your power by magnitudes. Doesn't make them any less kickass though. - INTP
Very accurate and articulate, as always. :) For ENTPs - 5:48 "They are linguistic swindlers of the highest order." You're spot-on there. As I 'grow up' I try not to flex nor weaponise this unless a person is really backing me into a corner in bad faith. That said, my skin actually crawled at your description of "Drown them in detail". More lethal than 2. and 3. combined, for me at least.
Thats super interesting. I'm an ENTP too, but 1 i found the least relatable by far. But it could have a lot to do with that I'm "pressed for details" often at work, so I may be used to having every idea I verbalize brought down to the ground and interrogated lol
I thought that even though I am INTP, I might relate to INTJs 1st point...... But the moment I heard INTPs 1st point I feel chills down my spine..... This knowledge is dangerous and shouldn't be public
Also 2nd point for INTPs is too true, my INTP brother cannot have a decent debate with my ENFJ sister because to her, feelings come before reason, but he has a crazy lvl of commitment to convince others with his point, my sister just ignores him now lmao
This is very frustrating for me but time always proves their argument does not hold up and then they become silent on the issue or change topics. Slipping in an "I told you so" is a moot point as they continue to live in denial.
@@louisejoel LMAO you really remind me of my INTP brother 😂😂😂😭 The reason he keeps annoying my sister with a debate that happened months ago is because he is SO CERTAIN that he's correct and he had researched the topic and has a bunch of evidence but my sister didn't research a thing, she just read some stuff online, doesn't have evidence/she keeps saying she does but never provide any/ so my INTP brother just wants to hear her take her claims back and change her mind cause she's being illogical 😂😂😂 But yeah the "I told you so" is definitely something he loves doing lol
@@sawaruuu It's frustrating when you put a lot of time and effort into research and people who have done none insist that the general consensus is fact until years later when they start to look really silly.
@@louisejoel true, I am ENFP also know that feeling, tbh I used to be like that (like my ENFJ sis) but learned that you'll never be the correct person or win a debate when you lack knowledge and sources, that's why I changed my method and it's the same as my INTP brother, (research, check different sources and reliability then talk or debate the topic) since I started following this method, I almost never lost a debate except the times I didn't do enough research so I lacked knowledge But generally people are different and their brains work differently, so when someone values facts and recourse, others might value the morality of things or how it feels to them, so the smart thing in my humble opinion is to approach people the way the their brain works, and your chances of convincing people with anything will be higher Good luck tolerating others ✨ +I talk too much I know lol
@@louisejoelthe most frustrating part is when such people come asking for some 'wise' and 'logical' advice from you with their issue, and you break it down to them describing the logical flaws and imperfections of their position. As an INTJ you were right on certain points and wrong on others but the one that made me write this comment is the "be unpredictable " I don't like surprises but when it comes to an enemy I will be very happy to have an unpredictable enemy because I'm so bored from stupid enemies and you also said that INTJ struggle with aggressive person in reality I love having a aggressive opponent because manipulating them is the easiest task and finally by watching this video I will be invincible
You're like an upgraded INTJ, who understands with time, that life without a proper challenge is boring, so sometimes it's very refreshing and satisfying to dive into the unpredictable and unclear. I call it "the sense of adventure".
Cause INTJs have Extraverted Intuition as their 5th function so with time they can really start to like unpredictability from time to time and types such as ENFPs, ENTPs, INFPs and INTPs who bring it in your life, even if it's not your default mode.
Ehh, unpredictability is not really a great counter to an INTJ. We can think in probabilities and black boxes which limit the need for precise information. In addition, if you are just throwing random scenarios our way, you are probably not acting in a manner that is optimal for achieving your goals, which can be leveraged to our advantage. In short, "unpredictability" is somewhat predictable.
Yes. INTJ and I cannot stand *irrational unpredictability.* Or when information is withheld from me. It really makes my claws come out (mostly inside, of course. Or through repressed micro-expressions)
I think it's so interesting how one of our weaknesses is dealing with people and their emotions (in different ways) and how easy it is to turn most people against us.
I notice I have to add a lot of social platitudes to any help I offer people, otherwise they get very offended. I suppose when I don't add those bits they just assume I don't care and am being a jerk. I've been told I'm a snob and appear cold when in fact I have social anxiety, low energy and am scared of how people might react or behave in certain situations. The fear is real.
ENTJs do it to themselves, I can only speak for one and not all of them, he does care. But because he hasn’t healed his wounds when he was a child. He lashes out his pain onto others. It’s quite sad because he’s aware of it and doesn’t know how to fix it.
Point 1 for INTP triggered me, but point 3 is just evil. Please don't encourage me to watch youtube all day and never leave my room. I know that is how my dead body is going to be found one day.
LOL. Re: INTJs Your attempts to be chaotic will likely be predictable. I mean, if you want to try to be chaos, go for it. I'm not going to try to stop you. But most people can't manage it. They end up doing things like "I'm going to rebel just like all of my friends" or "I'm going to do the exact opposite of what you say." or even just "I'm just to show up and ruin this thing for you just to piss you off." And the problem with all of those approaches is that they're actually predictable. Especially the better we know you. Even the Joker is not chaotic enough to thwart Batman, and he's a guy who dresses in a clown suit, and you never know if he's going to kill some random person he's interacting with. But that's not chaotic enough to foil an INTJ in their groove. Force INTJs to play politics. You are absolutely right that we will hate it. You have, however, discounted the strategy of just not playing. We have tight personal bonds with a few people. Some of those people have far better social skills than we do. So odds are that we'll just deputize them to deal with most of the crap while we go hang out in a lounge chair under the overhang of a garage while it's raining. Also we may pick up a few new friends along the way. Needing to finish tings is really probably the worst one. There's only so many projects we can keep an eye on. Too many open projects/plan steps will likely upset us. And even experienced INTJs may not be willing to admit to the overload when it happens. This is really your best route. Meanwhile, let me point out a few things: 1a) We're okay with trashing our own reputations to get projects completed. 1b)) You know how actors say it's freeing to get to play the villain? Paint us too much as the villain, and we're not above stepping into the lime light with an evil cackle and villaining it up. This means we're probably going to blow up a lot of relationships in the process, but some things are worth it. And it is soooo much fun to give an evil cackle and herd all my scattered chess pieces back the direction I wanted them to go this entire time. 2) All of these are frontal assaults. As a strategist, I might just cede ground to you, letting your think you were winning , all the time cutting your supply lines until everyone is confronted with the fact that your promises and warnings against me were empty bluster. The basic Russia v. Napoleon strategy. Also known as giving you all the rope you need to hang yourself. Because I live in my head. I can keep retreating forever. The same can't be said about you pursuing. 3) During all of this, it's worth considering that all INTJs come with a built in BS detector. And you attacking us would be a huge, massive pile of BS. And our favorite thing to do with BS is t o bring that sh*t to light. If we can see you, we can put a spotlight on you. And may very well do so.
As an INTJ 1.) Politics only work if you have a particular worldview. But if you don't, if you are an absurdist, it doesn't really matter. 2.) some INTJ's also like to be unpredictable. They do however have chess player mindsets. The better way to see this is if you could turn off their "observation" brain which fuels their interest, otherwise they move on apathetically. 3.) I think this is the only one that beats an INTJ. As it is, INTJ has Ni in their top function, they value the perception of winning before winning. I haven't seen or met an INTJ that hasn't tried to read the future before it occurred. (accepting, and being present also reverses this).
2:00 A good example of this was Napoleon falling into the Russian trap when the enemy kept retreating to lure him deep into Russia so he'd be caught there in the in winter.
The best way to beat an entp is to argue about a topic they know nothing about, they'll either feel defeated or just won't talk and think you are stupid because you know nothing either, so better come prepared lol -entp
ENTJ 1. Just give up. Literally. By not giving them someone to argue against or any opposing view points, they will lose it and start fighting both sides just to have a debate. (Note: I'm ENTJ lol)
Agree. If there is no one to argue, we have ourselves. And then the greatest minds clash in an eternal battle... (I'm ENTJ too, so, I have such experience)
ENTP here. People try to get my definitive ideas but they always fail, I always find a way out 😎 As for the details I hate concentrating on that but I understand that's necessary, what's stand between an ENTP and their success are the damn details 💀 The last point made me sick only to hear that really hit close to home. Now I know what to work on to become unstoppable 😈
It was painful to watch imagining all of those for every of our NT fam, let every NT brother be striving and well and be free of such things mentioned here. (ENTP)
haha this is brilliant! I particularly like the heartfelt "it`s annoying" at the end of ENTP. Sounded like there is a lot of resentment towards a special ENTP! XD
As an INFP with no enemies (that I know of) that would justify watching this video, not only I watched it, but I also found myself sympathizing with INTJs and INTPs, as I would be similarly thrown off by the same tactics (albeit for slightly different reasons MBTI-wise - or maybe simply 'cause I'm a 5w6).
@@alaric12 I don't know a lot about Enneagram, so I'll have to trust the tests that I've taken so far, and I don't recall ever getting a 4 (but well, tests have limitations, so who knows). And even MBTI-wise, it's very difficult for me to tell if I'm using Fi or Ti. Ultimately the main reason INFP describes me a little better is having Te as the polar function. Aside from that, I find myself using a lot of Ti-like language and judge a lot of the evidence I collect based on whether it makes sense to me. I simply don't act as much according to that as I would like to. Also, if I were a 4, why would I think I was a 5w6 (not even 5w4)? Wouldn't I be proud of being a 4? Idk, sounds like an unlikely mistype. And reading the descriptions again, honestly 4 seems to cover precisely a certain stereotypical side of INFP that I don't relate much to. But again, who knows?
@@emptyhappysong If you're 5w6 then you're more likely to be Ti dom than Fi dom, if you're 4w5, then Fi dom, eneagram and MBTI correlate. Look at the instinctual subtype (sp, sx, so), it could maybe bring you answers, about the core needs and fears. The reason why I suggested you may be a 4 is precisely because it is a common pattern I have noticed where INFJ and INFP, displaying clear eneagram 4 characteristics will present themselves as "5w4", as they are "deep thinkers" and "intellectual" liking "deep" conversations and having "deep" emotions, as they want to be seen as unique individuals and beings. Ironically, while the eneagram 4 is supposed to be the most common among these two types, you'll find plenty of individuals describing their personal experience about being 5 something. Does it answers your question emptyhappysong ?
I feel like healthy ENTPs will have developed ways to work around these pitfalls, but it’s all about utilising underdeveloped functions. Fe, Si and Ni are excellent tools when you need them. I grew up in an extremely challenging household, with a very unhealthy INFP mother, so being shut down and forced to pick a side is something I’ve always had to learn to deal with. I FIND my way to have my say. I’ll use Fe to organise the room to a point where there can be that direct confrontation where I’m in my comfort zone. Though being bogged down by inferior Si is still a work in progress
As an INTP I have to say using emergencies is not a good idea if they’ve lived a life of having to put out fires. You’d be hard pressed to find a situation where I wouldn’t do well under fire. However you hammered the nail on the head. Put me into an emotionally charged situation and I will fully short circuit and probably retreat to my mind palace.
However rushing me in any normal, daily situation will cause a short circuit that will likely only be resolved by a full nights sleep. And your removal from my environment.
As an ENTP, I would say 1 and 3 are true. However, taking a stand is something I am quite good at, and unlike some ENTPs, most things I am either strongly for or strongly against, so I end up being one of the only people who actually does want to take a stand (when people around me won't).
as an INTJ I knew all of these weaknesses and I've been subconsciously giving thoughts and processing in my head about how to be strong enough to deal with them for years altogether now. One of the things which help me best is to get a grip over my automatic emotional response during all of these events. In short - be unshakable. I can deal with multiple scenarios and use them to satiate my curiosity like an INTP (point 3) and move on with my life. Politics wouldn't concern me as long as I get my work satisfaction, but I'm certainly choosing a field where none of the politics matter much.(point 1) and I can pretty much dump someone who's been unpredictable and doesn't offer me something valuable. Not to mention I can be quite unpredictable myself in doing that :D. Makes me feel good about not having friends and there's no one I absolutely trust. If I make friends with someone (which I rarely do) I always think how long before we get into disagreement and part ways. The only person I fully trust is myself.
They way underestimated the power of apathy. When the INTJ can turn off any feeling, care, or consideration at will and at a moment's notice, not much can be done to defeat them.
Tbh all of these were somewhat relatable. Edit: I'm between ENTJ and INTJ consistently but I feel the need to reevaluate my understanding whenever I get new info and I kinda hate it. I can bipass this but my natural existence is information and then application based on what I observe. Thoughts would be appreciated as everything I know is subjective and I just account for my lack of info-
I dislike emotional manipulation with a passion (can spot it miles ahead). It isn’t that I don’t have a heart. I just don’t use it often. Using family tie, long association, favor owed, or simply saying “feeling” is NOT the way to convince me to part ways with my time and money.
As an ENTJ, I will keep this in mind every time someone pulls that trick on me. That's a sign of their intentions and would be perfect to cut them off depending on the situation. However, a smart way here is to make them think they got me while simultaneously getting what I want in the long run.
As an ENTP, for me the third one is really true. I still remember when I was in theatre extracurricular, they ask my opinions to add some scenes but always rejected it right away and then chooses the cliche cringe dumb scenes that they think it's great. Man, I really hate those days. Also, whenever my friend tell about her daily activities, it's so boring actually. Like, let's talk about something else girl.
Oh yes,as an INTP I hate it when I try to point a "general truth" about things, and some asshole comes along and says "So you mean that Mr X is *something negative/wrong*.Then I try to "water down the truth" to avoid conflict, and they keep poking at the flaws of the watered down version of my truth, till I break and I start saying "never mind".If you are that person,I hate you.
1) I notice your advice against INTPs was particularly weak, which is good. I mean, two of them amounted to "be incompetent". 2) When did you decide to tread down the dark path. Forever will it dominate your destiny, ya know.
For other ENTP's bellow related pint 3. Have you ever wanted to admit a mistake but people either nitpick or typecast you and then they chastise you not for the actual mistake you made but rather from a mistake you didn't do and is only tangentially connected to the actual mistake you made and you are pissed off because you can't even make your case for the actual error you made?
I do not understand how or why it happens but I always screw myself over when I get too excited or is already winning. My god 20% of my chess losses happen because of this
ISTP here- it’s easy. Intj- I’m extremely stubborn. I’m extremely secretive. I’m extremely silly and goofy. Entj- im their right hand man, bite em in the butt. No more efficient work. Entp- summarized perfectly. Intp- have them assemble a ikea desk they’ll die

It seems wrong to "like" a video which explains how to exploit my weaknesses... but the "like" was earned legitimately, so I don't see any alternative... -- INTP
Interesting. Inasmuch as, 1) I'm not especially looking to beat anybody, and, 2) I don't possess the capacity anyway to identify "types," this is not likely to be very useful to me. HOWEVER, I would be fascinated to see a comparable video on how to beat NF types, because I'm an INFP. It would be interesting precisely because I DO at least know what type I am, and if you exposed some of the methods for "beating" an INFP it could alert me to such methods getting utilized (whether wittingly or unwittingly) against me. I could say, "Ah, ha, this person is doing that thing to me that the video talked about; well, I know how not to fall for that, then...." Do you plan to do a video on "How to BEAT" every kind of type, or is there a special reason you are doing this only for NT types, i.e., because they are the uniquely "formidable people to be up against"?
How to manipulate, control, guide, and gaslight NT types is something the rest of us need to know because NTs are such good manipulators, managers, guides, and gaslighters. Delightfully devious.
Can be but not all are. If the goal is important enough everyone will yield to the NT. They will then discard them after they get what they wanted. And some NTs are okay with that as long as they get the credit. Why? You'll be back. And then we repeat only this time with that... I told ya so. Or predictable. If they were gratuitous at first, they will definitely now exact a price.
If it is one thing us NT’s really don’t doing is gaslighting; -and when someone does manage to do as such it’ll always come to bite them. It is in fact mostly the NF’s that gaslight, btw.
Nah I can’t even care about individual people to do all that! Secondly I don’t need to do all that. I don’t care about controlling people whatsoever. Anyone can do those things it’s not a personality generalization!
@@sylviaowega3839 Absolutely INTJs and INTPs do not gaslight -- it's anathema to their ethea. ENTPs and ENTJs on the other hand... well, they may not intend to do it, but I've seen it in action from both types. There's something in those types about needing to be right at the cost of truth, or perhaps being so set on their own worldview that they are trying to will it into existence with words.
@@asvegas777 ENTP’s mainly like to troll people, which is not gaslighting; and with ENTJ’s I only knew four of them from my workplace, and have never caught them gaslighting anyone.
INTJ here: Talk politics and watch my eyes glaze over from lack of interest. Also, I do tend to find ways to cope with unpredictable people...I've had some pretty good-hearted but flaky by nature friends in my life. I learned to pencil in plans with them (never a pen), carry a book to read if they fail to show, and as always have a back-up plan if not two. I agree about the need for closures but I've lived long enough now to make up my own and call it good.
@afrosamourai400 Politics, in my mind encompasses both the "ideas" and the maneuvering/relationships. I personnally tend to be very interested in political ideas, dissecting, understanding them, thinking of others and discussing them deeply with other people in an analytical and not "partisan" way. BUT, political maneuvering, pointless flattery, having to speak to people for the only sake of "a relation", and worst of all having to maintain a vast network of "friends", that I despise. The idea of having to give energy and time to something that seems pointless and steril,l is really the main problem. So to sum up, understanding politics is great, doing politics, not so much. Tough like anything you do not like in life, you develop strategies to cope when it is required of you. And I wouldn't say INTJs are bad at it per say, but it certainly isn't natural.
@@Srvhbbjc Agreed...politics as ideas etc...as perhaps true policy-making as the name is supposed to entail...todays's actual politics...meh...and yes, INTJ's can be very very good at politics of both higher nature and baser when it suits their own plans. I'll never forget reading Machiavelli's The Prince in high school government class. It was fascinating and pragmatic albeit ruthless when needed. An INTJ manifesto to be sure (just not every INTJ's manifesto to be clear).
As an INTJ with an ENTP older brother, option #2 appeals most. And indeed, do not try to debate them. Even if the other person is correct, any observers will think the ENTP has won the argument simply through their sheer conversational trickiness. Winning an argument (and often dominating the group in this sense) will be everything to them. Give 'em the poker face and roll your eyes to anyone observing.
As an INTJ it has taken me a long time to realize that most people don't care about the underlying logic of a conversation, only the emotions and reactions of the participants. It can actually make winning arguments easier since logic is hard and simple emotional control of the narrative is relatively easy.
@@johnknight9150 When compared to trying to win people over with logic, yes very. People hate long trains of thought that take effort to follow. An emotional one liner almost always works much better.
@@laststand6420Not exactly my strong suit, which is probably why most of us INTs try to 'logic' people in the first place. Can you give me a working example?
@@johnknight9150 Example, a person insults your accuracy in a game. You might be tempted to explain in logical fashion that your accuracy is actually slightly higher than average, and that you lower it slightly on purpose to achieve a higher K/D... However, the more effective option(in the presence of others) would be to comeback with something like "Says the man who doesn't know how to play" or "I'd like to see you do better". A simple ad hominum I know, but usually politically effective. It is less satisfying to us, but most others will see you as having won in the second case, and lost in the first.
You’ve forgotten the secret weapon of every intj - we can just drop people who piss us off out of our lives and feel good about it.

ENTP: "Why so serious?"
INTJ: *details* *details* *punch* *details*
As an INTP I was in hysterics at how we can be defeated because it's so true--every single point. So spot on, it's hilarious.
Very wise way to react, you will do well in life :)
I don't want to win...I want the truth to win.
Wasn't quite true when you were a teen and in your early 20, though, was it?... 😅
NTs watching this and taking notes on how to avoid these vulnerabilities. Oh well that was quick.

Thanks for the tips. As an INTP, I will now work around these faults and rule the world.
And I'll help! Every ruler needs a PR hypeman, ENTP at your service future overlord.

@@Rutabega_NG apathy will make them sick lol

I also see it as a strong power up and will never take it for granted)

But I do sense money changes the person - evaluating people even me based on usefulness. I feel saddened by the fact that I have lost a dear friend the way I connected with. I felt too sad but came to realize this is the time to probably start distancing myself. No amount of money can make me the way ENTJ is.. I think we were just made differently from the start.

But generally people are different and their brains work differently, so when someone values facts and recourse, others might value the morality of things or how it feels to them, so the smart thing in my humble opinion is to approach people the way the their brain works, and your chances of convincing people with anything will be higher

💯 agreed. Also, it is very difficult to be truly unpredictable.
It's actually fun seeing something different from your prediction 😂
Yes. INTJ and I cannot stand *irrational unpredictability.* Or when information is withheld from me. It really makes my claws come out (mostly inside, of course. Or through repressed micro-expressions)
How about rational unpredictability? Or irrational predictability?

LOL. Re: INTJs
Your attempts to be chaotic will likely be predictable.
Meanwhile, let me point out a few things:
1a) We're okay with trashing our own reputations to get projects completed.

INTJ/5 here. Forewarned is forearmed.
As an INTJ
1.) Politics only work if you have a particular worldview.
#1 is more “office/organizational politics”
2:00 A good example of this was Napoleon falling into the Russian trap when the enemy kept retreating to lure him deep into Russia so he'd be caught there in the in winter.

All of it bothered me intensely as an INTP 🤯 I’ve learned to avert most of it by simply accepting to be the villain 😜
We are so predictable 😂
or maybe an eneagram 4 thinking they're a 5 (the most likely option) ;)
This is a devilish video 😂🫣🤓
gotta love how these information are available freely online- intj
Ah... when you are so powerful, people start making strategies to beat you. :3
Yesss. Now that I know my weakness it shall become my strength..the greatest of thanks my brother.
ENTP-A
As an INTP I have to say using emergencies is not a good idea if they’ve lived a life of having to put out fires.
Can't wait for the couterpart of this video :))
I feel so called out... you've found my weaknesses as an intj.
As an ENTP, I would say 1 and 3 are true. However, taking a stand is something I am quite good at, and unlike some ENTPs, most things I am either strongly for or strongly against, so I end up being one of the only people who actually does want to take a stand (when people around me won't).
same im pretty clear what I will or will not stand for. I think us having very nuanced takes leads people to think we are wishy washy
as an INTJ I knew all of these weaknesses and I've been subconsciously giving thoughts and processing in my head about how to be strong enough to deal with them for years altogether now.
One of the things which help me best is to get a grip over my automatic emotional response during all of these events. In short - be unshakable.
I can deal with multiple scenarios and use them to satiate my curiosity like an INTP (point 3) and move on with my life.
Politics wouldn't concern me as long as I get my work satisfaction, but I'm certainly choosing a field where none of the politics matter much.(point 1)
and I can pretty much dump someone who's been unpredictable and doesn't offer me something valuable.
Thoughts would be appreciated as everything I know is subjective and I just account for my lack of info-
Both are pretty decisive, ENTJ even more so. Maybe compare common enneagram types associated with both
Can you do a video on how to beat the ST types? Especially ESTJs-- someone needs to take them down a peg.
As an INTJ, you just given me tips that it’s will benefits me to become better, thank you for being helpful.
I dislike emotional manipulation with a passion (can spot it miles ahead). It isn’t that I don’t have a heart. I just don’t use it often. Using family tie, long association, favor owed, or simply saying “feeling” is NOT the way to convince me to part ways with my time and money.
INTP?
@jameswilkerson4412
Yup
Those previews are so goood, ISFP approved
Just the title of this video is gold for me.
~ INFJ
Do you have fights with NT?
me, a stubborn INTP, wants to challenge all the other NTs at what you said not to do lol
Forcing them to make a stand is incredibly effective against entps
This is kind of scary. He is spot on with the INTP and ENTJ.
As an entp, the first point made me sick in my mouth. Whoever does that to me will be my enemy till i destroy them lol
I do not understand how or why it happens but I always screw myself over when I get too excited or is already winning. My god 20% of my chess losses happen because of this
Wow!! Excellent video
The last line is just even more evidence that I'm always right.
ISTP here- it’s easy.
Intj- I’m extremely stubborn. I’m extremely secretive. I’m extremely silly and goofy.
Entj- im their right hand man, bite em in the butt. No more efficient work.
Entp- summarized perfectly.
Intp- have them assemble a ikea desk they’ll die
work in a restaurant or any fast paced, detail oriented environment for a while as an entp. this will build your weaknesses up that way you can tackle any problem even in the most fickle of situations
It effed me up as a [probable] INTP
Damn! This is evil..and accurate! That being said, great video..had me laughing pretty good-ENTJ
Your own people will be your downfall! Watch out 😂😂😂
I don't think this is safe, it's basically guide how to hurt someone
And also the guide on how to survive getting hurt by this guide, if used correctly. 😎
Thinkers are usually the bullies lol
I feel like you have revealed our kryptonite! 😳😅 You're way too accurate! -ENTP
It seems wrong to "like" a video which explains how to exploit my weaknesses... but the "like" was earned legitimately, so I don't see any alternative... -- INTP
This is tittering on the edge of evil.... MUAHAHAHAHAH
Why is he dropping our most sensitive vulnerabilities onto the net?!?!
Why do yall not like politics?
Nothing can beat the mind of an INTJ!
We can adapt to any situation! A top level INTJ is dangerous.
6:28 I need that discombobulate meme dose now
That last line triggered a wry smile.
@@laststand6420 Emotional control of the narrative is easy?
"Exploit their need for closure and resolution"
Takahashi's perfect weapon.
This might be one of the most funny concepi i have heard, "in debate ENTPs may be wrong. They even say they are wrong, yet they still win"😂😂😂
