Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. When James started I switched off - he was too "shouty" and trying way too hard to be American. Fastforward a few years and I drifted back into a few highlights.... Now I'm addicted. He's found the balance, cross USA - UK humour and just the right amount of shouty that my sensitive English ears can handle it - AND - COVID BE PRAISED - this new format of involving all the back of house staff is incredible.... I REALLY like it. We're getting to know them, their back stories, everything - excellent. I'm more interested in the staff than the guests. I really hope the staff spots remain after "it" has passed.
What outtakes? Lol
I wonder if they even have outtakes or just put everything on the air. They can bleep out any bad words, but otherwise they don't get to redo a scene like a scripted show would.
@@edwardblair4096 ...They chat quite a lot about edits and That wont make it to air.... but yeah, I get the feeling we're getting pretty much the full package. A couple of the other shows have done full behind the scenes stuff, which I'd like to see here, but this format is just as good - Fins Up. The "upstairs" control room would be interesting to see, and listen to. Its amazing just how much each person has achived prior to the show - Just some random staffer has been all over the world, toured with bands and acted on TV shows - crazy. I said it before, and I'll say it again.... the people in the background are much more interesting than the guests.

We all know it's coming....the day the audience returns. It'll be a sad sad day unless they figure out a way to keep this type of momentum going. The past year has reminded me of Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show, it's been a wonderful surprise. Keep this format as best you can.
You have a point. I think they're all closer because of it. And as a result, they will collectively rejoice that live crowd and weirdness together. Like a swarm of bees. But good.
I'm seeing the sad return of audiences to other shows and the pandemic ones where they are relaxed and interacting with each other are way better. These guys are nailing it all year .

I wake up at half 6 (in the UK) and watch these videos every morning while I dread going to my mind numbing job.

Everything is just impromptu now and they're just joking around, but we tend to overlook how freaking talented Reggie and band is. Guillermo's Springsteen impersonation is so impressive, that you'd think they played an actual Springsteen song. Lol

Mr. James Corden I tried to catch this every night on TH-cam because things are difficult but it's hard to be in a bad mood when you have been hysterically laughing and you don't disappoint every time you have me laughing with just the way you and your staff interact it's comedic genius and it feels like it's just a bunch of friends sitting around having a great time opposed to the other late shows which I do watch part of but yours is very distinctly different sincerely and honestly thank you
