Living somewhere where lane splitting is not permitted, I envy every second you gain in traffic. My season is already over, looking forward to next year.
in some places lane splitting is illegal but lane filtering isn't. the key difference is that filtering is when all the cars are stopped. should check with your local laws.
@@nick4506 nah here it's all forbidden cause since the season is short people aren't used for bikes to be on the road and never look. So filtering would be even more of a risk. Sad cause it's not the bikers fault.

always puts a smile on my face when people give room to filter, not pushing in-between the cars i'd call common decency and more than enough you're rewarded with drivers being nice to you and move over
I notice some mums with prams, use the 'I have priority and don't need to obey rules because I'm pushing a baby/kid in a pram' mentality. When in reality they are putting everyone at risk

I love the noise bouncing off the buildings. When I took my RGS through London back in the 60’s I loved the noise.

Man, those electric scooters are accidents waiting to happen.
Its probably been around for a while but I have noticed these bolt on 50cc kits for a bicycle, They have been popping up now all over the show and they ride them like its still a bicycle, I thought the Electric Scooters were bad!
@@stephenmoir7691 I used to see a guy riding one of those. He eventually got pulled over and I could hear him asking the police why they’d stopped him! Some people are unbelievable.
illegal on the road and pavement too and supposed to be restricted to only 15 mph by law .There are some trail areas in some cities but only for using designated hire scooters not your own .

Aw man, missing summer. Living in the northern part of Sweden, with between -5 and -20 degrees celsius and i see my MC in the garage everyother day.
Riding in the city can be fun but I’m glad I am where I live. Open roads and only a few vehicles will always remind me why I like living where I do.

honestly I’ve been worried i’m gonna get told off for the exhaust on my GSXR 600 but tbf i’ve seen you riding for years and a lot of your bikes sound a little bit louder
is it rare to get a nod from the police? here in the netherlands i alway's greet them like fellow bikers and 8/10 they greet back
3:18 and you need NOTHING to drive this in my country... No driving licence, no helmet, no insurance, NOTHING... You get 50cc moped, you need to pay for insurance, have helmet and have a proper driving licence (which you´re anyways given with B licence (car)) and I´m honestly glad I´m going 40km/h, not 55 as stated in video..
That's a polish Fiat produced on a licention that polish bought ano produced them. It's Fiat 126p, classic in Poland.

I am seeing more and more of those hyper-scooters in city areas, and several of them can top up to 60 mph, which is extremely dangerous, the riding profile of a scooter is not meant at all for high speeds.
Yep I saw an accident the other day and lets just say when it comes to a scooter Vs car the scooter never wins.

I think also people will give you space if they are used to motorcycles just being around. I lane split a ton in Los Angeles California(its been legal here forever and there are a lot of motorcycle commuters) and a lot of people will give you space even in locked-up solid traffic. though you often don't need it as our freeway lanes are 12 feet (3.65meters) wide. very easy to go too fast given how open it feels.

Okay, 32MPH on a scooter is one thing, but 32MPH on a scooter with ZERO protective gear is a whole other ordeal! I mean it's way cheaper and faster to walk in front of a moving train or jump off a cliff. Why do people do that?
A lot of cyclists can regularly exceed that speed in thin lycra.

Here, lane splitting will never be legal because car drivers are not aware enough of their surounding and would try to fit between your skin and the bike if they saw an opening between your knee and bike frame... 🤣

Bumpy road huh? Roads in Central London are an embarrassment. Flats for £3million and roads with craters biggest the on the moon. I’ve see better roads in Cambodia then in Mayfair
