i did an experiment where I sand the stainless steel 430 upto 1500p grit and then mirror polished with buff. after i did deep draw and the material went under elongation , the mirror polished disappeared . what is the reason.
@@bhadeshia123 do have any idea of reducing organe peel effect in deep draw. I saw some research done by using reduce grain size but i think it may reduce elongation property of material. Any how should I see grain size , is there chemical to apply on stainless steel to see grain size.

Plastic deformation is not uniform on the scale of the roughness of a mirror surface.
