This video helped me more then ANY other i have seen. I watched this in the parking lot of my range and went and hit the ball better then i have ever done before. So THANK YOU for this!!! Cheers✌️
great advice Kerrod. I have been struggling with my wrists and have purchased a Hackmotion which will hopefully help along with your drills. Curious though that unlike a number of other tutorials, you are wearing the band on your trail wrist?
Yes I wore this on the trail as it is the most effective for me. I would recommend you try both and see which one you resonate with best for your optimal feedback to improve.
Will do although it’s confusing my unit wearing on my trail wrist. As a right hander wearing your unit on the right hand do you switch to being a left handed in the HM app?
I think I have a problem with rotation and that’s why my lead arm starts to bend in my backswing and comes away from the swing path. Would the alignment stick be best to try and ensure that I’m rotating enough? I feel like it helps thinking about turning the right shoulder towards the direction you’re hitting
You're definitely on the right track with identifying rotation as a key factor. A lack of proper rotation often causes the lead arm to bend and move off the swing path. This particular alignment stick drill won't help you much with that. In this video I talk about keeping your right shoulder pointing at the target like you mentioned: th-cam.com/video/Sffp39OOZ54/w-d-xo.html
@natkimroconsulting - Sometimes it does sneak inside a little, but as long as it stays within my boundaries in being close I know I'm going to produce a great strike. 🙌
Thanks! I have a couple of videos that can help you with this. Here is one that I think you will benefit from: th-cam.com/video/tixywBHtPP4/w-d-xo.html
lol you must be the worst example ever of a youtuber just showing whatever gadgets that are sent to you. Hackmotion is great, but you might want to use more than 1 minute to understand what it is for.

All the wrist data, tour data and analytics for both hands is in the ultimate feature package? This may be what is missing for you?
@ Yeh you’re right thanks Kerrod. Will stick with the basic version and persevere.
Great drill. I have the older model. Can I use it on my trial hand? I always used it on my lead hand.
🎉

Can you feel as though you’re pushing down on the handle on takeaway?
You can as long as the path that your taking the club away is correct.
Is this for irons and drivers or just irons
All clubs! Earlier move of wrist for short clubs, a bit later for longer clubs (including driver)
Great video tips
What happens to your swing plane if you hinge your wrist immediately after you start taking the clubhead from the ball?
When you hinge early, the clubhead tends to move upward more quickly, leading to a more vertical swing path.
What i notice is your swing is inside the arc on the backswing.

Great job Kerrod thanks. Any tips of when/how to then release the club from this loaded position? 🤔👍✊🏌️♂️

@@kerrodgraygolf thanks Kerrod, I’ll take a look 🏌️♂️👊🏻👍
Think u have to have it on left wrist
The pro model of the Hack Motion can be used on either wrist 👍
