FUN FACTS:
Seinfeld, the American television series created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, began airing on July 5, 1989 on NBC. Originally called The Seinfeld Chronicles, the series' name was shortened to Seinfeld after the pilot to avoid confusion with another sitcom called The Marshall Chronicles. Additionally, the original concept for Seinfeld wasn’t for an ongoing series, but a one-off, 90-minute special titled "Stand Up" that was set to run for one night only in Saturday Night Live’s time slot.
